    i got the PR via express entry. both my wife and myself are senior IT executives and currently settled in London. Is it a good decision to move to Toronto. I understand i have to make this decision but just wanted to take your point of view. Problem in London is that we work on visa and have limitations on switching jobs and getting PR here.

      If you're from a warm climate, winter will be a shock. Southern Ontario not as bitterly cold as communities further north, but winter drags on for months. Warm clothing a must. Cost of living expensive in and around the bigger cities. Smaller communities housing and rent cost not quite as high. But those places you will need a vehicle to get around. Owning and insuring a vehicle is also costly. Driving in the winter will be challenging if you're not use to winter conditions.

    I like your idea of making a Channel out of your true story, and lots of good, real-life info on here. Appreciate it, thanks for sharing! In order to drive more interaction and engagement with those already 6.3K subscribers you have, you need to make a few simple adjustments to your Channel. Simply re-arrange your Channel Start Page, your About page and other info on it accordingly. Also try to re-write some of the Video Descriptions to make them 'better suited' for getting listed by UA-cam and found by viewers. Right now, your Channel is wasting a lot of that extra potential you could get out of the work you already have done. These are very simple but effective measures that will help immediately -- remember, you already have a significant number of Followers to work with. They would sure appreciate and use your extra bits and pieces here, as per the above...
    Let's talk -- feel free to message me anytime.
    Good Luck!

    Hi,
    Thank you for your informative videos.
    I am about to immigrate to Québec, and i would like to know which would be a better idea. to book a hotel for the first days or rent a temporary room before even i got there?
    Thank you

    • @LifeInCanada
      @LifeInCanada  7 років тому +1

      Room would be much cheaper option but they can give you some minimum rental term. The room would be the best short term rental option and you might not be asked to provide the documents (employment letter, references, rental application and credit score). Just a deposit or pay for all term in advance. But for just a room it will be less then for the apartment.

      Yes, banks can give you a loan (we call it mortgage) for very low % compare to other countries- it's around 3-4%. But every bank will check your credit history, expenses, income and other details and will make a decision. So it's absolutely up to them
