Dealing with giant monstrosities of GPUs over the last few years has sensitized me to just how cute and tiny these low profile cards are lol
It even looks tiny compared to the ancient 680s and 780s in my collection. I love it.
That's exactly what I thought about this thing, it's so small it's adorable
i kinda want to build a tiny but also overkill pc at some point
asrock makes a mini itx amd epyc board, and asus makes a micro atx threadripper board so it might be doable, just gotta find a way to fit a 4090 into a tiny case
Usually the GPU gets installed leaned over beside the motherboard with a riser card on tiny builds. The airflow is a non issue since those cases are perforated from every side. Good luck.
It look so sleek and professional. No gimmicks, no tacky features, no over-the-top "gamer" aesthetics. Just simple, all black, single blower design at a small size. You really can't beat it. Sure, there's cards that are cheaper to game with. But if you use professional software, and also prefer to have a small, no frills PC build, then this is it. This is peak minimal design.
Stay strong my dude, its only uphill from here! Very enjoyable video from a power consumption perspective. Hope your channel grows! Cheers!
isn't uphill a bad thing?
be careful around parasocial relationships
@@danieloutzen9802 in the analogy higher means better, so uphill would be a good thing.
As I tell everyone who gets a divorce or breaks up. SHE FOR THE STREETS, ON TO THE NEXT
@@danieloutzen9802 lmao yeah
Nvidia should have released a version of this card with game ready drivers and labeled it a 3050ti... Even with the enterprise drivers, it still competes with a 3060 while using half the power, so I could only imagine what it could do with proper game driver support.
Absolutely. I'd have bought it in a second if they had. Shame they're obsessed with stupid unaffordable stuff now.
Its the same drivers
This is nVidia we're talking about. They wouldn't do that just for market segmentation's sake. Why give consumers a good in-betweener option when you can either shunt them to the low-end option where margins are still thick, or to the higher-end ones where they're even thicker?
But it'll cost the same price as it does right now. Will people actually buy it? So the supposed RTX 3050Ti will cost the same as the 3080 MSRT, with 3060 performance, and extremely efficient.
@sedrosken831 So for the same price you can get a 3070 easily, which will outperform this card. For most people don't need this level of efficiency, so why would they sell them? Also they are likely so highly binned for efficiency I doubt they can even make that many to be able to offer it to the consumer market anyway.
Those AM4 Ryzen 5000 series CPUs are a real bargain. Very good performance there. That A2000 is a GPU that many of my clients purchase for architect applications such as Revit. They are surprisingly powerful for their size and power usage.
Oh, I almost forgot, I just got divorced a month or two ago as well (I honestly can't remember when she moved out lol). Hang in there buddy.
Thanks man. Appreciate the support.
Who needs relationships when you have computers? In all seriousness though, that sucks. I hope you find the one soon
watch out for divorce lawyers, my god they're expensive
Overall divorce isn’t that bad….after going to prison for getting into it with her (she really is a bitch)…i was able to get my same job back, and my child support payment was 14,000 upon release…anyways I get full custody of the 4 kids and the house….I seem to have more time for myself and the stresses of life….I finally paid off the child support and got my video games…including a steam deck for myself. The only caveat was that I’ve turned asshole ish towards females….given how easy it is for a lot of them to receive support and overall society is easier on them…and when they complain to me…I let them know yeah you want all this good “shit” that men supposedly have, but they don’t want any of the bad it comes with. Oh and I finally filed my taxes and claim the kids for the first time ever, and I’ve received $20,000 in October…funny thing is that she claimed them…in 22 knowing that she lost custody in June of 21. And I guess she just found out…and said she is reporting me for fraud, yet I told her “I just reported you to the irs legal documents and all” And I know many of females have this sense of extreme entitlement. That will give more energy to…fighting for their agenda or clout chasing. Than to actually sit down and work honestly.
Didn't expect the CPU to make such a big difference. A very educational video!
Once you have fitted a GPU any computer is a gamer, that's the most important part. However a high clocked low latency CPU is better than an upgrade to the next GPU.
@@wayland7150 thats kinda what I did for My Friend,
So He wanted to Become a Pc Gamer, but Havent Played since Like on His Xbox 360 in 2012 ( The last game He played was Halo Reach) and havent played since then.
He had a Budget of About 600$.
So I advised him to Just get a Used Rx 580, ( as thats Enough for like Warzone and fortnite and other less Demanding Games except for Maybe Halo Infinite)
But Get a 5800x3d with a Decent X570 Board and 3600 Cl16.
So The Majority of the Budget went to Cpu instead Of Gpu. And just to Save Upto like 350$ for something like a 6700xt or a used 6800 or Xt.
@@zalankhan5743 He has something good and getting that RX 580 to really shine. A very solid basis for practically any GPU available now and for the next couple of years.
@@wayland7150 yeah thats kinda the Goal.
He wanted some Recommendations (He was Xbox fan)
I told him to get MCC,Forzas, Gears 4 and 5, but Also Like God of war Horizon zero Dawn. And Something like The Arkham Games and Ghost Recon and Really Good Games from Like 2013 and Onwards. And Told Him to Focus on these games.
And After He saved Up Money, just a Great Bang for the Buck GPU and play the Latest And Greatest
@@zalankhan5743 I think having you play the games with him is the most important factor. Get a little group of you doing it, maybe three people playing online together. His hardware will cope fine with almost everything.
This was really wonderfully presented and detailed!
Love these oddball and small form factor builds, really appreciate the video. Hope you had a good time making the video, I know I had a good time watching
I love the new xbox look, if I could build an sff in that, it would be lovely
Hang in there sir, those big setbacks often open the door to a better future. Went through similar a few years back. I have regained all the material items lost in the process and found a much better partner in life. Hope things improve for you soon and thanks for the gpu insights :)
Very well made video! Good comparison and i really like when people compare the power consumption too. Awesome mate.
Keep it up, I watched all the way to the end!
Enjoyed it.
hey man, sorry to hear you’ve been going through some bad times, but if this cheers you up: I absolutely loved the video! I’d love to see more
enjoyed ur video alot!
interesting take on that a2000
just subbed looking forward to ur next one :)
what this lacks in professionalism and production value, it well makes up for in coziness, writing and delivery.
This is the first video i have seen of you, and you've earned a sub. Please don't give up on youtube, things always get worse before they get better, that's just how the life works.
Going from the 1600AF to the 5600 is an even more substantial upgrade than going from the 1650 to the A2000. That's three CPU generations leap right there.
Sorry to hear about your loss, my heart goes out to you. This video was quite enjoyable to watch; I hope your channel grows into something big one day.
try going from phenom 1090t to 5600, then realizing I was even bottlenecking a r9 270x on that cpu
Technically it's "only" two generations newer since the 1600AF is a lower clocked 2600 (Zen+).
My biggest CPU upgrade was going from a Core2 Duo E6300 to an i7-920. At the same time I went from an Intel GMA 3000 to a much more capable GPU
@@Pasi123 my biggest upgrade was from i7-6700 to 5600x and intel hd 530 to rtx 3070
@@tl1882 relatable, i7-6700 to i9-7980 and intel hd 4000 to gtx 970, 🎶a whole new world lol
Love this kind of stuff, can't wait for the next vid! hope you're doing well :)
I hope everything goes better for you from now on. Keep on making videos if you enjoy it, I can assure I will watch them all.
Stay strong mate, your videos are very enjoyable, you have a great potential to become a big channel, just keep grinding it.
Thanks for those videos, really got into power efficiency for a few weeks now and it's definitely something that constructor needs to consider
Watched this on my tv. I had to grab my phone and open up the video just to comment, never saw any of your videos before now, keep your head up!, We all go through bad things in life unfortunately, I subbed and will now go and see some of your old videos :)
Nothing is permanent alex, after this video i joined your team and gonna run with it till the end!
You have my blessings alex, this channel will be a blast, i immediately subbed after watching this video, i hope your content will make me keep coming back
Very cool upgrade/pc! Sorry to hear about how difficult this year was for you.
Sorry about your rough year mate. Just found your channel with this video and now subbed, cheers!
Last year was really awful for my family, I hope 2023 is better to both of us. Please keep making videos, I'm going to try to start making videos this year too! Enjoy the sub!
Real glad I found this vid! I'm a big fan of small form factor PC and the RTX line up recently just saddens my heart. Also love the fact that you also considers the power consumption as I also live in a place where electricity isn't very cheap. Not many PC building YTer even talk about the wattage, only the games it can play on max settings.
Hey man, I just discovered your channel. I’m not into entry level hardware but I enjoy your presentation style and you seem very genuine, so I subbed. Stay strong mate, life has its ups and downs. You’re going to bounce back and this part of your life will become a distant memory. Things always get better, it just takes time. If making videos is a happypass time for you, then you should pursue it. Good luck with everything.
Hope everything will get better for you this year, and good job on the video
Having to deal with what you're going through and still making vids is amazing, Good luck on your pursuit to happiness. I wish you well.
Best of luck in this new year. I hope things will get better.
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate just how good the 5600 is, even all the way up to 4k.
actually you're less reliant on CPU power the higher the resolution
@@leeroyjenkins0 some of the newer RT-using games like Spider-Man are actually fairly CPU-heavy. Plague Tale Requiem as well, and that doesn't even have RT (yet). And the RTX 4090 is also often CPU-bottlenecked in many games, even at 4K in some cases.
@@Nintenboy01 the RTX 4090 cost double the price as a whole PC system for 4k without a GPU inside. So yea will be a shock if a GPU that cost double the price then the rest of the system will not run in to a bottle neck and yes the 4090 is a Titan card and we all know how bad Titan Cards aged.
The better thing back then was to buy the x80 series and get a new gen after release = better performance = better price = better Driver support = Better in everything.
Can we all just take a moment to acknowledge that Meusana is another "can we all just take a moment" simp?
@@atlantic_love wow, you really just tried to use that back at me, a comment I never make, and a statement you have no right in making given that you only know about one of my comments that exist.
also that's not what simping is, if anything you could say im simping for the 5600, but simping for the comment, what to get multiple likes? Bro cmon, just cuz you're that shallow, please don't project that onto me.
nice vid m8, hope you get through your rough times. keep up the good work!!
Interesting card. Thanks for sharing and so sorry to hear it's been a hard year for you. Hope life smiles to you from now on! Keep up the good work!
I'm always down for a new tech channel, I hope you flourish 💪
Great video, good look for you on this new journey
Keep your head up brother. Hopefully things improve for you.
Pretty nice video bro!! Hope everything on your life gets onroad. Thanks YT for recommending this vid to me, new sub!
Great video! just discovered your channel and the quality of videos is great and the content is very interesting! keep it up man
Thanks for your time putting this together
Enjoyed the vid, Keep up the good work! Subbed!
What a detail video. great work. Keep it up!! 👍
This was an interesting video! I am sorry to hear about your difficult year. Thank you for being vulnerable x
I'm sorry for your loss, and all the awful things that happened to you. I hope things get better from here on out :)
Hey man, I'm so sorry things have been so trying lately. That's a lot of hardship to endure.. But I'm glad you're bouncing back, and I'm glad to see you making content again!
I know it's hard, to overcome big life troubles, and get back to a point where you can enjoy yourself again. I know the struggle.😞 It was almost exactly a year between the only two videos I've ever made so far lol, but I'm finally on track to getting the help I need! I've got like, 4 more videos filmed, and I'm hoping to find the energy to start editing/animating again!
For what it's worth, your fans love you! We'll always have your back 😁
Keep that solid content comin! 🧡 This stuff is MY JAM!
Nice video, always fun seeing people working within some constraints. Moving and life in general can definitely be tough, thanks for sharing, even if it's just to strangers on the internet. Wish you the best
I am sorry things have been so hard for, but thank you for the video I enjoyed it and stay strong and hang in there I hope things will get better
Hey man, great vid! Wishing you all the best from Brazil!
Stay strong man, keep up the good job and excellent quality content!
Keep making these bro!! This was fun 😄
i love ur concept, and i would love if i can see more of ur content like this concept in the future! because not a lot of youtuber talking about performance per watt
New to the channel and just subscribed. Good vid!
Keep it up, great content ! Love that itx build xD
Thanks for the video, I really enjoyed it & I'm hoping things turn around for the better for you soon.
bro is an absolute chad, going through god knows what, and yet still cheerful and making vids. Stay strong king, and I hope you the best
wow the ending hit outta nowhere lol. first vid of yours im seeing. hope things get easier.
on topic, i always forget nvidia cards outside the main series like this A2000. surprisingly good card
Sick video dude. Sorry that life has beat you down so hard, but you got the video out and damn was it a banger. You have a new subscriber from me, keep up the good work!
Man you're very underrated. When I started watching, I thought you had minimum 500k subs. If you continue with this kind of content, You're going to make it big. Keep it up!
Good video. Rough year though, mate. Take my upvote!
Keep going mate I throughly enjoyed your video please make more, I’ve subscribed
Great video. I hope things get a lot better for you.
Hey, just found this video today and i really enjoyed it. Hope everything goes well from here. Will be staying for the next video!!!
The A2000 has some popular overclocking mods. Solder on a wired female GPU six pin connector, shunt mod and/or mod the bios, then you have a power limit > than the PCIe slot limit. Still gets a good performance per watt when overclocked. Undervolt might be the way to go though
Great content man! i really enjoyed the video and hope you continue to do more! Keep moving forward, brother.
great stuff! keep up the great work and stay strong, you got this!
I'm not in the market for a low-profile GPU and I usually don't watch many tech-related videos anymore, but this was super interesting.
There's something about smaller hobbyist channels that I find charming. Hopefully you keep posting videos, if so I'll definitely stick around.
You did a good job mate! Cheers and hope all goes well for the future!
Thanks for taking the time to put the content together and share the results. I just ordered the RTX A2000 from Amazon US for $250 to add to a Dell 7060 (i7-8700). Looking forward to seeing how it all works together. Sorry about the rough 6 months man. Praying things turn around soon. Cheers!
The 8700 is still a pretty potent CPU. It should do great with an A2000.
I went through this same exercise over the holidays. Bought the same GPU to upgrade my small secondary media PC I mostly use for streaming and emulation. I ended up upgrading the CPU as well afterwards. I've really been enjoying this low profile card. Thing is a little beast for it's power consumption. Found it on Amazon as a refurb as they are pricey retail.
Dude, sending you good vibes, hang in there king!
The flickering in some of the games is probably from the lack of vram on the 1650
ty for the vid and gl with whatever comes up next!
Great video!
I hope you get better with time
Great video. I am starting a stupid build in a 360 shell and I was wondering if those half cards where any good.
I hope the best for you moving forward!
Great video. Keep at it. I've subscribed.
Great video. All the best on your new life mate!
Hey how's it going man, I absolutely loved this video and its the first of yours that i've watched. I hope that with my subscribe itll put you at 1000!! though I think itll actually be 999. Either way, CONGRATS!!!
holy carp i wasn't even looking at my sub numbers, i've been hanging out in comments, thank you so much
Really good and detailed video.
Hope you're doing well :)))
hey, great video! seriously. You have a real talent for this sort of stuff. A lot of other comments say this, but stay strong, seriously. Thanks for this video!
Keep your head up Alex. I really enjoyed your video, i subbed so i can keep up with your videos and how your doing man. Stay strong brother! Mind over matter, you got this.
Godspeed, man, you have very nice voice and good video structure.
Chin up brother. Great video. Looking forward to the next!
Great video man and stay strong
Great video, keep up the hard work and good content
Best of luck, first vid I’ve watched of yours but will watch more.
Great work man! You should explore APUs as well!!
Good video :)
I wish low-profile GPUs were more of a thing. They work well for stuff like home theater PCs. As parts get more efficient generationally, I think we could see more low-profile GPUs show up targeting home theater and office PC GPU upgrades
Hope you're doing well :)))
yeah pretty sure we could have 3060ti-level performance in low profile with affordable prices.
Ik I'm third world but wtf are you doing in your office if you need the power of a 3060
@@thegames4565 glad someone brought this up. A lot of the tech you see online nowadays, we simply don't need. I'm guilty of it. I have a gaming laptop I don't use much. I have a Surface laptop I only use when I go to a coffe shop. What happens it turns into a hobby. You build your first PC or set up the first laptop you've been saving up for and then more and you pour more $$ into all this shit. And we just don't need it. I'm looking at this GPU bc I can actually use in the living room little SFF PC I have there. When I have serious amounts of $$, I will give back and even gift tech stuff 😁
keep it up and head up man this is the first vid i have found and i enjoyed it thank you
I have never see. Your videos before but this video shown up on my suggested. Just wants to say sorry that you have had a bad time and hope to see you post more. I’ll be subscribing to your channel
Great video! I'm already ebay-bidding for A200 to replace my ancient (yeah, I really mean it) Quadro K4000 on my Virtualization server where I run a pro-gpu for Virtual Computing (Citrix HDX) and encoding/decoding video.
One quick question, have you by any chance measure the idle power between the 1650 and the A2000? I'm curious as my gut tells me that might be lower on the A2000 :)
Thanks!
sorry to hear you had all those things happen! really appreciate the great video anyhow, and please keep at it
I like your video style alex and hope you keep making videos. Wishing you the best.
Keep the videos coming Alex!!
I enjoyed watching you tinker with this system. It really is a challenge to get a powerful low profile GPU for sensible money. Sorry to hear about your life troubles, hobbies can help when you can spare the time.
I’d love the 12 GB version of this little card with like a Xeon E3-1245-V5 and 32 GB of DDR4. I hope you have a great year and I hope things start looking up. I’ll be waiting for more entertaining videos to come!
Just found your channel. I look forward to more. I started to make videos and real life kicked me in the face as well. I’m hoping to get back in the hobby as a distraction. Good luck bro.
cheer up man, you gain a sub here. please do continue to make unique contents!!
Good video. I was considering the A2000 for my 4th gen intel computer build and I will search for a good used one.
Sorry about your life troubles. You've had a hard 6 months, but keep your chin up. I feel that things will turn around.
Hang in there, my friend! Life can get rough at times, but you have a lot going for you still. You will continue building a good size audience if you keep making these videos. This latest video has done 93k views already 👏. Keep it up, my friend. You can keep your UA-cam numbers growing and life will get better. Don't give up the fight!
8:02 I don’t know if you did but for that game I really recommend waiting in the home screen until it compiles all shaders, that improves performance and eliminates bugs in cutscenes most of the time
Great video, looking forward to more
Great video bro, keep strong 💪
Stay strong sir. Hope you'll heal yourself soon
Great video. Keep doing them!
