    Hi Jacob,
    I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis 3 months ago. It’s nice to know I’m not alone in this. I’ve just come out of hospital the last week. I took myself to A&E, I was kept in for week. I’m now on steroids and mesalazine. Thankfully the bleeding has stopped, it feels like I have to keep my gut calm and quiet. Sorry to ramble on but thank you

    I agree with your point of getting enough sleep. I think it's one of the most important things to do for IBD. I sometimes get into a really deep sleep when I have a flare and feel very fatigued and when I wake up I usually feel loads better.
