  • How to make Baked Mostaccioli ! This is my family's favorite Recipe of mine!
    The beauty of this recipe is that you can alter it to fit your needs! This recipe was made with ground Beef and Pork Italian Sausage. But I often make it with ground turkey and turkey Italian sausage.
    You can also replace the meat with veggies (onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and spinach)!
    Ingredients:
    Pasta - One box of Penne Rigate noodles
    2 large jars of pasta sauce (Prego is my favorite)
    1 bag of Mozzarella Cheese
    1 bag of Mild Cheddar Cheese
    1 bag of Sharp Cheddar Cheese
    Brown Sugar (approx 1 & 1/2 table spoons)
    1lb Ground Beef or Turkey (optional)
    4 Italian Sausage (optional)
    Seasonings (about 1/2 tablespoon of each or to your liking): Italian mix, dried Basil leaves, Pepper, Garlic Powder, Onion Power.
    Salt - approx. one teaspoon.
    Love this recipe? Let me know in the comments!!

    Coming from a Brooklyn NYC born and Rasied Italian nice job in this dish. Use imported Italian Macaroni or at a Minimum Barilla and Never Jarred Sauce. Definitely can share my Authentic Recipe with you. Always use San Marzano Tomaotes for a redicoulous Sauce gives the BEST 👌 Flavor. Happy New Year to you and yours. 😀

    Can I substitute white sugar for brown sugar if I don’t have it on hand?

    • @MooreJessicaPlease
      @MooreJessicaPlease  2 роки тому +1

      Sorry I’m a bit delayed with my response. I’ve never tried it with regular white granulated sugar. But with a small amount I can see it working well.

    I remove my casing from the sausage and cook with ground beef but in all good video

    • @MooreJessicaPlease
      @MooreJessicaPlease  2 роки тому +1

      That’s an awesome method! You still get the different flavors with Less time needed.
      I may try that one day, but I also really do enjoy the bit/chew of the larger sausage pieces when they’re cooked separately!

  • @lenaestacks934
    @lenaestacks934 Рік тому +1

    All the comments before you cooked it - I wanna know about the brown sugar- I will add white to my spaghetti…but never did the brown sugar: also I’ve always used actual mostaccioli noodles, and incorporate ricotta cheese, you can buy sausage meat out of sausage casing, it’s a few other things I don’t do - and do do but it’s quicker this way; wondering about the taste

    • @MooreJessicaPlease
      @MooreJessicaPlease  Рік тому +2

      Then overall taste of this dish is amazing. I like the bite of the sausage after it’s char’d a bit. I’ve only seen ground sausage out the casing.
