Nuno.. I've played every guitar out there the passed 40 yrs. When i played Washburn, then learned they were such a historic American company, I realized that with a bit more tweaking, their guitars are fundamentally awesome. I share the same love as you do for the brand and appreciate your influence. You're so wicked. Thanks for supporting them because between you and Paul Stanley, and a few others, they deserve to have that credibility. Love the frets, fingerboard, & neck feel and the upside down headstock has always been the coolest looking guitar I've ever seen, so its great to have one of the world's most bad ass guitarist bring this guitar to fame and support Washburn. Just hung out with Nuno briefly at the Kitchener Axe generation show in late November. Fantastic show! Have to say he has been one of the best and most underrated guitarists around for years(not to Steve Vai though which speaks in volumes). One of the nicest; down to earth rock stars you will ever meet(aside from Zakk Wylde and Steve Vai). He kindly signed my left handed N4 which is just an amazing, easy guitar to play with absolutely killer tone(thx Bill Lawrence!) Love you Nuno and thx for just being a cool dude. See you next time your in town.
I got an N2 about two months ago - my first guitar- gotta say I love it, and it introduced me to Nuno. Quite frankly, changed my whole life for the better
Bought mine back in 1992 from nakkas music store, a 1991 n2 padauk stain completely stock. Plays like a dream, sounds like a beast and is built like nothing else I ever owned. Puts my Gibson and my 2550 prestige to shame. Nothing rusted, nothing moved nothing failed, just the best guitar I ever played
@@Rafaelguitarplayer yes, bad move on their part. with something like a neck join in a guitar, standardization is very useful. 4 bolts, done. a non-standard neck joint will put a LOT of *players* off, a "i ain't dealing with that" sort of thing. the N series had the potential to be Washburns "RG". they just needed to do what Ibanez did with the Jem, adopt the design and make it the backbone of your company. they could still have *Nuno's* N guitars like the Jem. a Jem is just a Steve Vai RG. every guitarist with a signature series RG Ibanez has a signature guitar that is a variation on Steve Vai's signature guitar. and i'll go out on a limb here and say the N series is a better guitar, over-all. tho the top horn was moved forward primarily to fit the Steven's cutaway, it changes the center of balance, stabilizing it somewhat. and it, kind of, "locks in" to your body with the comfort cuts. most comfortable guitar to play in the world until recently with Abasi Concepts and the like.
Nuno is a real inspiration for many of us that have been listening for 30 years or more. Very humble guy with mad skills. hope to see you soon on the road my man
I sooooooo wish I had some musical talent! I love listening to classical guitar, but don’t know the first thing about playing music. I’m glad there are people like Nuno I can listen to and enjoy the music he creates. Thank you 🙏🏻

Nuno is such a rare player! Truly a virtuoso who can play anything, he had a unique style and very creative voice in his solo and rhythm phrasing. One of, if not THE best, players of his generation. Also seems like a genuine, down to earth person in his interviews, which is just stellar in my opinion. 😎👍
I'm happy to say that i have one for around 25 years now... i bought it because i was such a fan, but i feel the same way, if i play another guitar i just don't have the same feeling as i have with my N4, i really lucked out, because i bought it without trying it and until this day it is still my favorite ... i don't know there's something mystical about this guitar, to me at least. I love the tone, the neck is perfect... i love the fact that its natural wood tone... every little detail is perfect :)
Didn’t know that about the guy who makes pickups for his model, that’s awesome! Such a unique player. Nuno’s Get The Funk Out solo is one of my all time faves. Such a cool guitarist 🤘
love the guitar, the history behind ....very cool ; i had the Padauk one, i've used it around 10 years, insane live guitar, very fatty works insane also in clean, with both pick up, like a LP ;
Make one, there are a number of luthiers who can build the design for you and some much cheaper than they are trying to sell for currently. Otherwise, grab a N24 used and upgrade the electronics and tremolo (get a Gotoh-much better than FRO IMO) . It won’t compete with the N4 USA but tone wise it will be close.
