@@SinsofKuroi im dont care if they completely forget about operation maps, im just mad about how they remove maps from competitive pool, why keep them in casual only? like cobblestone, it had nothing wrong for it to be removed.
I really want them to bring back the gutteral bass of the awp sound from 1.6. That fuckin cannon really sells the feeling of power you get when obliterating someone with that gun, it felt so satisfying.
Not saying that current awp sound is bad or that it doesn't have that effect. Just that the 1.6 sound was so so good.
They did that with the older Negev, and no...thank you.
Same with the headshot animation when the character just flew backwards, when you one tapped it especially with whatever weapon felt so satisfying

Additionally, it would foster a more inclusive and diverse community, where players can fully enjoy the game in their preferred language, leading to increased player engagement and longevity.

I'm so glad it's brighter. Being colour blind it can be a right bastard seeing some of the custom skins, especially mirage under ladder on A site.

I just thought the old maps mostly looked horribly ugly. Turning away from trying to do gritty realism is the best thing CSGO has ever done. I personally love the new art direction.
i keep thinking some of the skins are actually my teammates specially in maps like Overpass when you do things like splitting and you can literally end up seeing a enemy right in the face and thinking it's your teammate because it has a nametag on top even tho it's your teammate on the other room
Only thing wrong with CS2's brightness is where issues like Nuke's A site blind spot come in. Because of how radiant the lighting effects are in dark spaces, the area on the back wall of A site where the T roof windows' light comes thru makes it impossible to make out someone standing in the light

Brighter is fine, but it's a little too sterile and clean looking. I hope they keep updating the maps, and this is just a rush to get it released for summer.
Im glad other people feel the extra weight thing. It feels like CSGO characters were faster and nimbler, CS2 is clunkier.

Movement are horrible, it feels like your character eat mcdonalds for too long
they added a command to allow us to manipulate one of the float values to make it feel better in sv cheat, so im guessing they are letting us decide whats perfect lmfao
I heard recently there was an update on making the movement closer to cs:go's movement. Has it become better since then or is it still meh?
The movement is fine. They are still tweaking things and it’s getting better and better. CS2 as of now is better than CSGO objectively in almost every way. You gotta separate different from better or worse.
They have been doing consistent updates with sweeping improvements now that they have gone through two map cycles. People must understand that it's still just a beta and a limited beta on a brand new engine and it's only been a couple months. It'll end up exactly where it needs to be by release. I also would only call CSGO near perfect in the sense that it's the peak of what source 1 is capable of doing.

I'm usually pretty critical when there's big changes in games/programs I like, but I feel like a weird outlier that actually likes csgo2 changes.
They kept all my items into the new game.
The new smokes are cool.
I don't know enough about subtick, but I think I like it so far.
I've had some dropped packet issues somewhat frequently, and my computer almost had an allergic reaction when playing it with some crashes and my keyboard reacting weird (I think it was a corsair api issue, not sure). Honestly though I like it so far now that I'm not seeing these issues as much anymore. Maybe I'm missing some critical issue everyone else is seeing since I haven't had too much time to play.
Might have just been a bad launch and I'm coming in after the fixes.

After playing the CS2 beta I can say it reminds me of when CSGO came out... it was AWFUL. It took a while before it was worth it to switch to GO. But with the amount of money Valve gets from CS I have some faith the transition phase will be months this time around versus years.

Deagle is a mocking weapon, its accuracy requires so much skill it's practically random.
It also costs a lot, has a lot of recoil and a mere 7 bullet magazine.

Css and csgo are different games, csgo and cs2 aren’t. People are right in demanding that they feel the same and valve is clearly trying to do that as well.

Quite the opposite actually: the fact that they are continuously tweaking the movement to make it identical to csgo shows it’s not supposed to be new.
Where have you seen any mention of it being a new game? It literally replaces csgo, unlike when csgo released as a new game and leaving the old games behind.
Only thing that keeps me from playing CS:GO and CS2 is the heavy and slowish walking style. I have 3000+ hours in CS:Scource and i guess i will still stay in this game.

cs2 should have a language select where you can select what languages you speak so when matchmaking you can be put with people you understand if possible
