The first is literally the reason the protagonist in Redo of Healer doesn't want to use his healing abilities and is why he has to be drugged out of his mind. The second sounds inspired by Eminence in Shadow. You can't hide your weeb activities, at least acknowledge where your inspiration came from.

Ill be completely honest I have no idea what any of those references are. But there is that saying "There is no such thing as an original idea".
