I was graduating high school when Tiger Woods first won at Augusta. I remember being at work and finding out about his fall from grace in 2009. 10 years of horrible mistakes, personal issues, mental issues, character issues. To see him SOMEHOW PERSIST, introspect, change and become is really beyond words. For his children to see their father overcome and excel at his very calling in life; as a father myself that is tremendously inspiring. All of us are leaders, if not in family, community or the workplace, then at least in our own lives. And the persistence to overcome and compete against one’s own limitations and expectations, one’s own inner demons, to set an example in not just results, but character - that is what is so inspiring about this Tiger Woods and this victory.
Very well said and I love your statement.. i'm not sure I would include 'mental issues' among his adversity. Unless it is in the broad sense as humans we have mental battles, they don't come more mentally tough than Tiger as evidenced by your larger point that I totally agree with.
We've been telling all the haters for several years that Tiger Woods would win another major, definitely one of the best Masters tournaments i've ever seen. Magic.

Tiger is an inspiration to all of us. Yes... he is a flawed individual, but we all are. He made mistakes and had bad judgement at times in his life, but what he accomplished is incredible. His fight and determination are phenomenal.
It certainly is a roller coaster. You wrote that comment before his Palos Verdes car crash which may change the ending of the movie and therefore the meaning. Fascinating story, no doubt. I don’t think a screenwriter could come up with a wilder story.
Jim’s comments at the end of this video around the 13:00 mark are truly exceptional and encapsulates what all of us were feeling about this great moment in sport history 👏🏻🙏🏻 Thank you Tiger for your unique talent and inspiring insights into your golf game ,where your mind and body have synchronised to produce a moment of great personal and professional success! Bravo 👏🏻🇦🇺 and congratulations from an Australian fan !
I loved the fact that when asked about his mom being there, it was not the gallery walking or the championship wins that matters, but the trips to the pee wee tournaments that his mom often took him to that matters most to him. Simply beautiful.
I am impressed that TW can play at such an elite level and win The Masters after all of the back problems and surgeries he's had. I've had similar procedures done to my back and can barely throw a baseball. Gives me hope at least. Perseverance and resilience. Big summer ahead for fans of professional golf.
You should try yoga! It usually helps with that kind of problem but it will take time but by doing it regularly, you'll definitely see and feel the results!!!!
"Young man you'll never live to see another day like this at Augusta." "You know what? He was wrong." Pretty incredible what has gone down at this golf course. On two separate occasions with two of the best golfers ever. Perhaps the two greatest moments in golf. You can tell Jim was grateful for having been able to witness it.
Incredible how he has accelerated the talent of the game. He inspired a whole generation. He beat the most talented field ever assembled in a golf tournament. Those scores were sick.
A fantastic interview in celebration of a masterful win by the ultimate comeback kid. Perhaps the hand of fate will steadfastly guide him to the 18th major by year's end, and let us all retire after a back to back masters next spring. Well done and thank you Tiger Woods for keeping the dream alive.👏👏👏👍
Sitting on the first row by the ropes, closest to where Tiger sank the putt for birdie, was one of the biggest thrills of my life - shared with my son who was sitting beside me. We had planned this trip for months, and what an amazing day it was! Congrats Tiger, well done.

Just remember, Tiger himself told people at the 2017 Master's Champions Dinner that "I'm done, my back is done." So that's the information they had to work with. It's not like they were rooting for him to fail, they just saw him in pain and didn't want him to play that way. For awhile there even Tiger didn't see light at the end of the tunnel.
Aussie Jim 3 times masters champion, best player in his era and you call him a joke. The biggest joke is that shark who wouldnt even be invited into that interview.

Has there ever been a better Sportscaster than Nantz? He just makes every great moment in sports iconic. I’m so glad Tiger made the comeback complete here because no other sportscaster could’ve encapsulated the significance of that accomplishment better than he could!
That's a really interesting way of putting it. Sort of like the singer Cliff Richard who had top 40 songs in 4 different decades. 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's.
