Sean, I know it takes a lot of time to film and edit your videos. Thank you for making the effort to give the world a glimpse of how hard it is to be a small farmer.
All's right with the world when I'm watching Seanthesheepman. Whether he is explaining farming practices or just showing his dogs running through the Scottish hills, his videos make troubles of the world fade away. I always end up feeling better after watching this sweet man and his calm approach to life. As much as I love the appearance of a snowy landscape, it's much nicer to see it from the comfort of my warm house. Best to Sean, Stacey, Kole and all the critters!
Dairy farmer in Switzerland : a farmer's greatest enemy is not the weather, are not the long hours (although those can be tough!). Greatest enemies are government administration (that changes it's rules every year) and, let's face it, people (well intentioned or not) who think they know how to farm (yet could not last a week of early morning/late night birthing etc.) of animal farmer's life! Keep up the good work, Sean!! It's the best job in the world!!!
This should make the Labour Party realise how committed and necessary our farmers are. I grew up in a farming community in Hertfordshire in the 1940s so appreciate all our farming community do. Love the way the animals react to Sean calling them - and his patience in the awful weather conditions.
Fascinating learning about some of the science behind farming. Who knew there was so much to learn about feeding pregnant cows! My respect for farmers grows with each episode. Thanks Sean.
Sean, thanks for sharing the pups in the snow, so beautiful. You actually had gloves on, so it must have been cold. I love how you called your Hebridean sheep for feeding, and they came running. They have such sweet little faces. Black Knight has one speed: “The ladies love me“ cool dude speed😂🩵
Snow is beautiful, but to work in it, not so much. My hats off to you and the dogs. Hopefully some good hot coffee and possibly some hot soup warmed you up!! 😊❤
We change our time twice a year and the government uses the excuse that it's for the ranchers and farmers. They replied, farm animals don't wear watches. Have a wonderful day. ❤
Echo says you feed the cattle, Daddo, and I'll keep the folks at home entertained with my running back and forth! Then when he was sitting in the ATV he was doing his best to give the camera his weather resistant pose! What a hoot it was to watch your sheep run toward you when you called them! Always nice to see those two gorgeous girls, Storm and Kate, even if for just a short stint! Love anything and everything you decide to video. Really appreciate your explanations of how things work on the farm. It's not easy being out in the snow, but it sure does look beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing! 💜
its been raining here in nova scotia for a week nice to see the dogs they love the run thanks for showing us wow i didnt know that about cows very interesting
Can you do a video on how you found this job? What was the job interview like? Thanks! I really like your work. Very few people have a life as close to nature as you and the dogs. It's lovely.
I didn't know the thing about pregnant cow diet, thanks for teaching me something new. :) And thanks for showing us so many cute moments! Echo in the tractor, just waiting for you and the sheep coming running. Echo darting back and forth in the barn or being happy about being patted. Love all of that. The swing around and back at 12:55 was really cool by the way! Looks really awesome with so many sheep around you at all sides.
Oh man…our beloved doggie Baxter loves, loves loves the cold and snow. I had to up my anti to go outside and walk and play with him. I bought snow pants, a heated jacket and a long coat. Now I can spend an hour outside playing, walking and using our bazooka to play fetch. He’ll run and play ball all day long, and I stay warm for hours! The longest I stayed outside playing was 3 hours in 18 degrees F. I never got cold and he got the exercise needed. And yes, he wore a sweater vest and I checked his paws. We did take breaks going in and out of home to check his paws…♥️ Baxter loves the winter. Me, us, not so much. But I can now play in winter, just like it’s summertime..🐕🌧️☃️ Merry Christmas dear, to you and your beautiful family 🎄🎅🏻🎄
Greetings from Canada. No snow yet in my part of the country but we have flurries and snow squalls forecasted for the coming weekend. Cheers and stay warm!
Work must go one regardless of weather. I think it would be harder in winter, than summer? I have no idea. Love the video Sean! You’re taking care of these animals as needed. I like that. I’m well aware these animals can on their own, but these animals are caged…sort of speaking, not free roaming. They need to be cared for regardless of weather. Fantastic job Sean…..Merry Christmas! ✝️🎄♥️🎄
I love to watch you, your border Collies and the farm animals working together so beautifully. You are taking such great care of your family 👍🏼 I see my dear border collie in their eyes. Same sweet look. She's a pampered house pet in a temperate climate but when she gets out she runs like they do & she's impervious to cold weather. It's in there!
We have 18 grad celsius today in germany i wish winter comes for the christmas market but the storm comes next week too. Your sheeps are lovely in the snow when you call them. And you have a lot more animals i thought only sheeps and dogs. Cozy Sunday evening nice hot coffee good time recover with your family.💙
Sean, making a calendar of the dogs and their working life all year long could be a great gift and merchandise option for helping to support your dogs. I would put it on my wish list!!! That is some freezing Scottish weather. Lots of snow that was sleet first but turned to heavier wet real snow, that melts quickly, unless it gets really freezing cold when the snow sticks around. Kate lead the way for awhile ahead of Storm. If Echo had been with her, skate wouldn’t have been able to keep up, but no matter, Kate is a remarkable dog and her traits carry on well into Storm and grandson, Echo! Sending you all lots of appreciation and love in beautiful, freezing Scotland. Stay warm and safe! Send us a snapshots of baby with Mama and Dada! At the same time, keep your baby’s face covered. You never know who may be thinking negative thoughts. Peace, Hugs, Love and Blessings from, LA, California! ☮️☮️☮️🤗🤗🤗💟💟💟🙏🙏🙏
I'm totally fascinated in both watching and listening to you explaining cattle feeding. I enjoy your provided detail as farming is remote to my city living. Love the scenery and dogs. I agree with the comment of a calendar. Glad to hear your family is doing well.
I was suprised by the snow-covered scenery. It hardly ever snows in the town where I live.❄️🐶⛄ I wish you and everyone else good health and happiness.♥️😊☕
I'm just a couple of hundred miles down the road from you but it's no where near as snowy as that. Love Scotland. ❤ Keep Cosy Sean et al and cuddles to the dogs.
❄️ another fantastic video. When you were feeding the cows in the barns it reminded me of when I was a kid and my dad worked for Producers milk in California. I absolutely loved going to work with my dad and seeing all the cows. And thank you for not being a prude about talking about farming 👍. Thank you 🐄🐑🐶🐶🐶 ❄️☕🥰 just perfect
Farmers are hard-working good strong people and I have nothing but RESPECT for their skill. Storm, Kate, and Echo are very smart pups, but it's because they have Sean to direct and correct them that makes them GREAT at what they do. There is love and respect between Sean and his pups and it's obvious.
Ah Sean! I can't tell you how much I admire what a hard worker you are. We have always been country folk. Folk that live in cities (here on the mountain we can them pavement dwellers) they don't have a clue the hard work of farming & livestock. Also, they don't know that when winter comes it is twice as hard. From opening gates and barn doors that are surrounded by deep snow 😯 - sometimes just getting TOO the barns or fields etc. We live in the Rocky Mountains @ 3500'. last week we received 15" of snow. Patriot, our Border Collie, LOVES the snow. She gets squirrely and spins donuts. Leaps through the deep snow. Chases snow balls and every shovel full of dug snow! So, Sean darlin, we KNOW your work and how hard it is. We feel you have found your "niche" in life. Great job darlin! Keep up the GOOD work. Hugs to you and yours from the Rocky Mountains of the Great NW.
This is the first time I see Echo's face reading "let's finish the work/ I wanna go home", haha, it's still cute though. And am surprised that Kate and Storm still can run so fast in such cold snowy weather!! Also the sheep really understand your calling and the Black Knight, they take you as a trust worthy friend. This video is amazing!
I love your videos, and learn from them a great deal. Thank you for sharing your life with us, and showing others how farmers should be appreciated for all they do! Love your dogs, too.... so special!
Love your videos!! Even in the freezing snow storm you bring us all a few small moments of peace. Thank you. Good health to you and your lovely family.
Can’t wait to see a picture of Kole in the snow! Well at a background picture anyways! I always love watching your videos, they are happy with the Pups showing their best sides! ✝️ God Bless you, Stacy, and Kole May he keep you safe well! And the Pups too of course! Those sheep were so funny, especially Black Knight! “Ummm I’m coming, no reason to rush just a little snow!” 😂😂😂😂
When i lived in a part of California with regular winter snow, we always loved it in November and December and by February we were ready to be finished!
I’m a couple of days late watching this- I live in Sydney Australia and it was 35* today- it’s not even summer! The dogs are all brilliant and the snow is beautiful.
Farmers are the lifeblood of society. God bless you . Thank you for a few minutes in your chilly day keeping things going. ❤
Sean, I know it takes a lot of time to film and edit your videos. Thank you for making the effort to give the world a glimpse of how hard it is to be a small farmer.
All's right with the world when I'm watching Seanthesheepman. Really kind words. I feel the same way while I'm watching them work.
Couldn't have said it better🫡
My peaceful place. Thank you Sean and pups ❤
“His video makes all the trouble fade away” well said. I feel the same especially after the American election.
What amazing animals. My go to happy place also.
Massive respect to you.
We are all behind you and all the farmers in this country
Is Scotland affected too?..sorry for my lack of info.
Well said ❤
Sean you should produce a calendar, with some fabulous shots of all the seasons.
Hope mum and baby are doing well too 🥰
Great idea
my thoughts too.
That's an awesome idea.
I’d buy one, for sure ❣️
I'd love a calendar! Maybe start now for 2026!

I hope the Chancellor was watching Sean working in the freezing conditions
Probably still tucked up in bed and doesn't care less for farmers anyway - don't start me!!
Probably in her second home where she claimed £4,400 expenses for heating
Reeves doesn’t give a FK
This should make the Labour Party realise how committed and necessary our farmers are. I grew up in a farming community in Hertfordshire in the 1940s so appreciate all our farming community do. Love the way the animals react to Sean calling them - and his patience in the awful weather conditions.
I had to chuckle, seeing how you've got the livestock so well trained too, that they also come when called!!!
That occurred to me. I was amazed!
I don't know about sheep but my dog thinks she"s the boss and I'm her servant.
When I saw him calling the sheep I almost did the whistle my dad does for his livestock...and Dad hasn't had any livestock in 20 years. 😆
@@catherinekenyon7555 aw that’s darling!
He put Echo out of business.
I don’t know how you do it but you can tell you love your job. And thank heaven for that because you feed the rest of us.
Echo....thank goodness I'm here to make sure Sean feeds the cattle...😂😂
🙂🙂
Echo doin warmups in the barn...
Love the comment. Echo would also approve of your comment.
Echo wasn’t his happy self today. Love to the family💕
We ..support farmers all over UK...
Fascinating learning about some of the science behind farming. Who knew there was so much to learn about feeding pregnant cows! My respect for farmers grows with each episode. Thanks Sean.
Anything that's pregnant needs a special diet.
Sean, you are the hardest working man (and dogs) on You Tube. You're the best!
GREATEST RESPECT FOR YOU AND YOUR FARMING LIFE FAMILY. FROM CALIFORNIA WE ARE GETTING SNOW STORMS HERE, TOO.
Support our farmers , they are amazing people ❤
This is the first ti.e I have seen Echo less than "all chips in". His expression is more like "less talking, more walking. Let's go home. "
Appreciate the fact that you are still filming during a winter storm love watching the pups work ❤
Snow is beautiful, but to work in it, not so much. My hats off to you and the dogs. Hopefully some good hot coffee and possibly some hot soup warmed you up!! 😊❤
....and there you are, Pied Pipering the flock in the snowy field and being the Alpha dog of your pack. What a job!
A wet, cold and wild day still looks like a wonderful life for you and yours!
Thanks for always showing that the world is still alive!
The dogs work so hard, but they just love it rain, snow, sunshine❤❤❤
Farmers are the best.
Lets see 2 Tier Keir doing what Sean and the collies do.
Not a chance.
Beautiful snow day. Love you used the word “ slippy “ to describe the roads. I’m from PEI Canada and that’s how we say it too!
We change our time twice a year and the government uses the excuse that it's for the ranchers and farmers. They replied, farm animals don't wear watches.
Have a wonderful day. ❤
I've been over that time change for years. Ridiculous.
Echo says you feed the cattle, Daddo, and I'll keep the folks at home entertained with my running back and forth! Echo had a lovely time marking his territory and then got thoroughly miserable when the snow came. Bless him. Lovely boy❤
Your videos are wonderful and inspiring. A fatmer's work is never done. Best wishes to you and your dear family.
Looks cold and wintery. ❤❤❤
Yes, but for me, sheep in the snow is picturesque in their landscape. And the dogs are wow. 🤗🇬🇧☕
Sean, thanks for your videos! Love watching life on the farm! 😊
The pups looked like they were enjoying themselves in the snow.
It's cold here in the south east US, too. God bless you and the dogs. I admire how hard you work!
I take it you don't mean Florida.... SE US.
Great video. It looks freezing 🥶🥶🥶
Power to farmers ❤❤❤
Yummy, fresh hay! Another beautiful day in Scotland.
Beautiful snow! In TX we have our Air Conditioner on!
I LOVE SNOW🌧️❄️

These dogs are so clever - a joy to see.
Looking forward to watching these amazing dogs! Love it!!!❤❤❤
I enjoy seeing the cattle from time to time.
Beautiful ❤️ Winter Wonderland ❄️☃️🩷 Blessings to you all from Texas.
Greetings from Canada. No snow yet in my part of the country but we have flurries and snow squalls forecasted for the coming weekend. Cheers and stay warm!
Absolutely brilliant. We've had snow this week, freezing cold here in Yorkshire.
You work very hard in all kinds of weather. It is snowing and very cold. Even Echo is working hard. God bless you all.
A raw day
Even a braw, raw day 😊
Dreich day
I'm a townie but I support our farmers 100%, you're the backbone of our country

Every time I look at you it reminds me of the middle ages.
Very interesting-educational.
Great explanation of feeding requirements. Thank you. Take care in that weather!
Getting ready for church, but I had to see a bit of your adorable and well-trained dogs. Hugs for you and your missus and wee one.

Ha! Echo seems to have one morning speed. Run. What a bull! "I'm on my way but at my own speed. OK!"
❄️ another fantastic video.

the head down posture always makes me chuckle
Beautiful winter day. Animals seem to like the snow. Worked dairy for long time. Great life.

That looked cold and miserable!! Farming is no joke!
Nice video Sean, that was a busy day cold and snow no fun.
Brrrr. Looks like a miserable cold wet day. 😊
Loved seeing all the farm animals as well.
Well done! 🎉
It’s incredible the amount of energy working dogs have.Amazing!
Echo is raring to go this morning. All blessings to Mum, Baby, you & the critters. 😊❤
Can’t wait to see a picture of Kole in the snow! Well at a background picture anyways! Your doggy just wants to be busy all the time. Good boy. ❤😂
The dogs are always such enthusiastic employees! Running in the barn, ready for a ride in the tractor. They are always up for some running!
Beautiful Scotland, even on a wet, sleeting snow day like that. Beautiful dogs too. Stay warm and enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
How beautiful! Echo and the girls look particularily majestic in the snow. Stay safe
Black night is an awesome specimen. What a great video Sean thanks for taking us along.😊❤
Sean, I was just telling my wife how much I love watching your videos! Thanks so much!
Black Knight is a BURLEYYYY boy! He definitely marches to the beat of his own drum, steady slow 😅😅. He's a handsome unit!
When i lived in a part of California with regular winter snow, we always loved it in November and December and by February we were ready to be finished!
I live in Minnesota USA and understand being out in the snow. Blessings to you for your hard work.
No rest for the wicked 😂😅🤣🐏🐕
I enjoyed watching the sheep come toward you like trained dogs. Great video.
I love how the sheep run to youbwhen you call them Sean.
Love 💕 seeing the cattle and the pups interacting with them
I’m a couple of days late watching this- I live in Sydney Australia and it was 35* today- it’s not even summer! The dogs are all brilliant and the snow is beautiful.
