Thank you for sharing your birthday with us! It was a much better celebration than mine 11 days earlier! Mine was on Sunday while I was in France and also a religious holiday--everything was shut! I ended up making my own birthday dinner, it's okay, I love to cook. Also, my husband and I took a drive around and stumbled upon a pottery maker that produces from their home. My husband bought me the most beautiful pasta bowls. But - to be honest your Bday celebration is what I'll be aiming for next year!

I am a mechanical engineer for buildings and I am part of the design team for the 3rd Firmdale hotel in NYC which is now under construction. Hope to see it comes to life soon! Oh gosh, that's such a tough one! I'd say my favourite afternoon tea is probably at the Connaught - the scones as well as everything else is SO good!
I enjoyed seeing what's new in the shops, but I must admit that I was shocked to see how many people were walking around indoors without a mask. I know that you weren't, but it would definitely make me stick to online shopping for now! x
It's definitely a mixed bag now! I find that in supermarkets, most people seem to wear them but not in regular shops now. Really odd!

Really random question but how much are the taxis in London? I've only been once and got the subway the whole time, just wondering if it would have been worth jumping in a taxi instead but with the traffic etc I'm guessing they can rack up quite quickly xxx
Honestly I pretty much never take taxis - it's usually always ubers but the wait was too long this time and we were running late! I think this one - from Kensington to Tottenham Court Road was around £20. Uber was quoting around £12 for the same journey I think.

Too bad its all cheap. The logo is basically a decal that flakes off after awhile from what I see in the gym. For all their resources you think the company can afford to double down on quality. Right now its trendy, but the way its going and the thumbs down to quality it will be a flash in the pan (sad) Lululemon/Athletic are the same price and leagues ahead in the quality and structure dept. And you know we spend a lot of money on quality gear !!
Dan should swap out the transition trim in the livingroom on the second step by the sofa where you always model . I have done my stairs trim as close the the color of the floor. ;)
