Simply the best thing ever! So glad this was caught on video. Quasthoff is a teacher like I've rarely seen. Closest thing was my own teacher John Shirley-Quirk... Same massive range, same ultimate care for what could be done with the music, and same self-effacing honesty. Thank you to whoever posted this. Just beautiful!
I very deeply do respect Thomas Quasthoff. He simply is a marvellous teacher. Benevolent, fostering, and knowing exactly what he wants to form.
