I will be in winnipeg for my masters degree in sep 2025. Your videos help alot in planning ahead. One major concern that most international students have is how to book flights with good deals. The one way flights cost upwards of 3000 dollars one way. Also after reaching airport, what is the best way to reach to the accomodation. A video with other answers to other similar questions like this would be a great help.
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
If you use a credit card, they charge a fee - that is why we recommended to pair cash back credit cards with it, so that your cash back is greater than the fee. Debit card is free though!
Great list! These apps will definitely help newcomers manage their finances in such a challenging economy. I’d love to know if there are any more apps you recommend for budgeting or saving?
We're personally loving Monarch for budgeting, but it can be pricy. Unfortunately most budgeting apps are somewhat expensive. A great cheap/free alternative for budgeting is Mint, but some say it's annoying with all the ads. As for savings, we have automated savings deposits with Wealthsimple and Neo to make sure we save on a regular basis without having to think about it. Hope this helps!
Hey can you guys make a video if it is still worth moving to Canada in 2025, considering the recent high inflation, cost of living and few jobs opportunities. There's a lot of negative stuff online.
I use wise for shopping in the us and I love it , best exchange rates no international transaction fees and you can transfer money in minutes , you can also withdraw cash from atm machines abroad for free
@ the app where you can by groceries twice cheaper. When some product is about their best before date some retailers like Superstore throw them to the app. You by items you like through the app and then you just pick up them at the store.
Well I am from Pakistan, and Canada is REVERSE of OUR COUNTRIES PAKISTAN-INDIA. Did you know? You can survive in PAKISTAN-INDIA without any Job? or without even Money? Can Easily Eat Free Food?? No Bank Account/Balance Needed here?? this is HOT WEATHER Nation. But at the same time I heard and know that in Canada these all things are REVERSE. No Bank Account and YOU WILL END. This is Information Technology ERA, So Thanks you for sharing good apps for new comers.

So how does chexy earns money from you when you set up your credit card to pay your rent ?
If you use a credit card, they charge a fee - that is why we recommended to pair cash back credit cards with it, so that your cash back is greater than the fee. Debit card is free though!
They hold your money for 4 days and invest n earn interest....the amount increase when you deal with a big capital in just 4 days

Thanks for an amazing video. But I am not able to find Chexy from the play store. Is it still working?
it's a web-app-first experience, so you can sign up and set up via their website.

Rack-a-ten is probably a closer pronunciation.
Wow. Really helpful video for every person living in Canada.
Are there any apps to locate cheaper gas prices for cars and home/car maintenance?
Check out GasBuddy for gas prices. But nowadays if you search for a gas station on Google maps, it'll be showing prices next to each location

Your take on Honey (paypal) trap for influences and viewers like us?
Don’t use Honey.
The app to send money suck, the fees to send are súper híper mega expensive!. Even Western Union is better.
This was a good one, Meetup helped me to land a job opportunity.
that's brilliant! congrats.
