Hi Lisa great video, I've got so many memories of Great Yarmouth, when I was a child we always used to go there while we were on the Norfolk Broads, I've got cine film of myself and my sister on the beach there watching a punch and judy show, my dad was an amateur 8mm cine film fan, as a result we have got some great memories on film, of course the seafront has changed quite a bit since those days, but I still am very fond of Great Yarmouth, gosh Lisa you've got a strong stomach going on the big wheel, when I was a teenager I thought nothing of heights, but since I've got older my stomach turns over, even watching other people climbing or going up high does it to me, my late husband was a fireman and thought nothing of going up on our roof to fix a tile or adjust the aerial, I could never watch, enjoyed the trip Lisa thanks 🌞🌞🖐👍
Lovely video. The sunrise views were amazing, so thank you for sharing. I’m definitely not as brave as you to go on the big wheel. Tried the London Eye and shook like a leaf the whole time.
Thank you, I’m so pleased you enjoyed it. The wheel was fabulous. I’ve found out in the last couple of years that vertigo arrives when you least expect. Luckily I was able to enjoy the wheel without any problems. So incredibly high. Sunrise was beautiful, especially when the boat sailed through the reflections on the sea. Definitely worth getting up early for. Thank you for watching.
great video , was'nt too keen on going up in the big wheel lol , but what a view , & lots of ships to see , & what a great view from your hotel , that sunrise was beautiful on the sea , do you ever get funny looks when you book in , when people see where you're from ? .
You take some lovely stills as well as video Lisa.The fishing boat at 13:35 looks identical to the one I mentioned a few weeks ago. The one that took me for a trip around Lowestoft harbour. More merchant marine traffic than I was expecting too. I wonder if some was going to Lowestoft? Hopefully Yarmouth will have a good season. The Broads too.
That is very kind of you to say so , thank you Richard 📸 I couldn’t believe the amount of marine traffic. It’s almost worth just sitting on the beach and watching it. I imagine several were going to Lowestoft. Shame I couldn’t read the trawlers name. There used to be one that travelled up from Devon and fished off Scotland. Those videos would be in my Caister playlist about 5 years ago. I’m going to film Lowestoft docks one day. I have before (Lowestoft playlist) but I’d like to film it again but differently. Heights and vertigo is a new thing to me. Never used to bother me but lately it’s appeared.
