- We have been in the house for a few days and are slowly getting settled. We realize this is going to be a longer process than we originally thought, so we are taking it one day at a time and one box at a time.

We are a large family with 10 kids ranging in age from 23-8. We homeschool live on a few acres in Central Texas. With our family size, we buy a lot of groceries, so expect several once-a-month grocery hauls at the first of every month. On our farm, we raise great pyrenees, a handful of livestock animals and tend to a small garden. It's an adventure, and still new to us. So join us! Sometimes we succeed, and many times we don't.

I hope this isn't too personal, BUT in regards to UTI's.....I keep a container of organic coconut oil right next to my toilet - every single time I use the bathroom, I swipe the toilet paper in the container so there's a thin layer of coconut oil on the tp, and then wipe my bottom.....it is amazing how well this works!! Praying for you all as your adjust to your "new" home 🥰

We had that exact yarn stitch tree that’s in your pantry hanging in our dining room at our old house. It was from my husband’s grandparents house! We donated it about 8-9 years ago. The frame on ours was darker brown though.
I found it at an estate sale and I love it so much!
We never use hot water to wash clothes always Cold water and rinse with white vinegar ❤
For the cronic UTI try Ocean Spray PURE unsweetened cranberry juice. Drink a shot every day. It is so bitter as no sugar but it helps!

I hope this question doesn't come across as rude. I'm truly just curious as I've never been involved in the building of a home. But why wouldn't they check the pressure in the gas lines before the walls go up? Is it possible when the walls went up by the professionals that a longer nail or screw could have punctured the gas line?
They should have checked the pressure before the sheetrock was installed, but someone didn't do their job. Turns out the leak was behind the oven and it was an easy fix! No holes in the wall!
