- We've made a few drops and teases, and been pretty open about the design of the ATLP cat-back. With the final version of the exhaust on our own #HTSpecTLXS, we put together this all-encompassing video to show you how it looks, sounds, and the design features we cooked into it. While we don't at the time of this posting have a final production part to give you beauty shots of all the pipes and whatnot, the system is very real and sounds great in action.

It's the same exact system, just does not have the active valves in place. You can use it on a Type-S and just leave the plugs dangling. No codes or issues!

Is the initial drive off when you leave the driveway in Normal? Can you do a Sound test in Normal? Would love to have it sound like Factory Sport in Normal.

These are Titan7 TS-5. Very strong, very light. We sell them also! The grip is outstanding.

What high flow catted down pipe and secondary high flow catted down pipe fit this catback exhaust? I want this set up for my 23 tlx type S. Also hope a tune is released soon
ATLP A-Pipe (secondary downpipe) and stock cat (downpipe). We can at least offer a JB4 in the meantime on a 23! If we can help let us know.
I see 2 A-Pipes on the website available for the TLX Type S. Which one do you recommended to pair with this exhaust?
One has a high flow converter and the other one does not. If you're deleting the upstream converter then I would recommend getting the high flow a pipe.
I don't know that I would change my PMC exhaust...it's hard to look better than the black chrome tips and is a stand out of the PMC edition....that being said I love the sound this exhaust makes
Our next production run will actually have gloss black tips optional, maybe that'll change your perspective on that!
@@Heeltoe. It actually REALLY does. Will you also release a downpipe with a high flow cat? I have the ATLP front pipe w/ the deleted cat and would love to keep it all in the same family if I can help it
Do you think they'll make a 3 inch version for the high power builds?
Dual 3" !??!?! It would need to make 800+ horsepower to get anywhere near that much. We can make a 2.5" when there is some more need for it in the market but TBH until there is a turbo and fuel system upgrade (years away if it ever is made) a dual 2.5" is even overkill.

That intake gives questionable performance change but will make the car sound more interesting.
What type of coils and lowering springs do you have on your Acura? I want to get mine as low as yours 🔥

Is the A-pipe installed on yours with the cat back exhaust? Or will it sound this good without the A-pipe?
Yes it is, we did list that modification in the video description.
@@Heeltoe. ah ok just caught that, but the main question is will we notice a difference in sound with just having the cat back exhaust?
The BIGGEST difference is with the cat back! 85% of the sound or more is from the cat-back.
I was on the fence between a kia stinger and the type s. This is the throaty sound i was looking for.
No stinger exhaust ive seen matches this.
Could we get some more audio from inside the cabin, at various rpms, with windows down, no dialog and no music.

Thanks for letting us know how much you like it! So, the answer is not I did not make that video. Making a video of in-cabin sound, I am sure people will respond to it, and I can do one. But the nuance of sound I am honestly not sure it will be a meaningful video. What I can tell you is you can definitely here the exhaust inside the car, but it is not intrusive or annoying at all. With the valves open in Sport+ you get a little more sound, a tinge of drone...but it isn't bad and people really don't drive around with it like that. Windows open seems like a pointless video to make. The wind noise drowns out all interior sound at that point.
When will you have more in stock. I have been checking the website and never in stock and signed up for notifications when it’s in stock and haven’t gotten an email saying in stock.
We don't get a lot of these. It's typically best to go ahead and pre-order one and then one one comes we'll ship it to you. That's what people do and that's why you never see one hit inventory. Because they sell before they come in.
danm i just ordered the atlp secondary delete i wonder how this is in person and cold start cuz oem is so quite compared to all videos on youtube

So it Dosnt have resonators? And will this pair with the imr catless downpipes?
No resonators, and it will bolt up just like a stock exhaust well.
Just bought one of these and I've been shopping exhausts - this is the only aftermarket kit I've seen so far that offers integration with the factory valves, and I think I'm sold.
But first you gotta tell me where you got those wheels!

How much lighter are these compared to stock? I like the sound but I'm also trying to buy stuff that will also reduce the weight

Okay so I had a Honda Accord V6 3.5L Coupe with a cat back system and I traded it in yesterday for a Acura TLX Type S 2022 ....my question is with this system how much more HP can I expect from this system?

I now people like that sound but the only way to really get that is to make the car run wrong.

It sounds like the old j35. I have a 2013 accord coupe with the v6 and the atlp full exhaust system.
The turbo really muddles the sound. Compared to the #HTSpecUA9 SH-AWD 6MT TL, it sounds really pretty different.
Sounds horrible compared to the VTEC crossover snarl of the J35…

Those factory wheels or a/m? Seem to sit out a little farther than factory.
These are 19x10 Titan7 TS-5, we sell them at Heeltoe. The tires are huge Falken 285s. We sell the wheels!

Is it a big difference in sound without the A pipe install?
A tad more aggressive but overall not that huge of a difference.
Do any codes come up when you get removed the secondary catalytic converter or you need a tuner to remove it?
I believe that in this video the A pipe is installed.

@@crashxdrummer The 10" wide T7s with +37 offset are not using spacers. The fender-fit is basically the same as the 9" wide stock wheel (+55 offset) with a 27mm spacer.
