Ambiance and settings are huge for me so I appreciate when people make the effort to make things look nice. I’m a very visual person so I gravitate towards stuff like that.

Hi Vaughn, I absolutely love theme parties. I totally understand and appreciate all the thought, planning and work that goes into the a great theme party or event. I love decorating for themes so much, that I use to completely change the decor in my kitchen; three times a year. During fall and winter months, it was like walking into a French cafe. In early spring, I would decor my kitchen in a fiesta theme. Then, in early summer I would change it to a beach theme, highlighting all seafood; especially crab and lobster. Yes, it was a lot of effort; but it was so fun and cute. It took several years to curate all of the realistic decor, kitchen linens; silk florals; and dinner ware and serving pieces. My goal was to make it look authentic and inviting. Most of my guests, recognize the thought and work that went into the decor. It made the dinner parties and seasonal celebrations in my kitchen and dining area a little extra special. It gave me much joy to be that type of hostess. I only stopped after relocating to becoming a caregiver to my mom. I just didn't have the extra energy, time nor space anymore. I'm so excited to see the vlog from Ava Rose's party. You always do an exceptional job, with all the parties and events that you host. Peace and Blessings 💙💛

I don’t get invited to a lot of parties. The ones I do get invited to, they don’t do a lot of decorating. It’s always at an arcade or something like that. But I would definitely appreciate if someone did go out of their way to decorate because it’s a special skill. Not everyone can or wants to do all of that so I love it.
I love above and beyond details and decor to a party theme. And I am one who does just that for my daughters. I think kids and adults alike are amazed at the little details and effort put into parties.🎉
Being a creative person... I'm BIG on the decor, girl taking pictures, getting details on how you did what you did. I'm loving the party decor so far, can't wait to see the finished product

I appreciate when the decor, setup & functionality of it all are on point. That stuff can honestly make or break a party at times. A lot of my family has a tendency to do last minute things the day of it makes me insane! Love to see your dad. He has such great energy, it comes through the screen.

That’s amazing that you’re planning a trip to Bali! I just watched another vlogger who went to Bali with her husband and it looked amazing. One thing she mentioned is “Bali Belly”. She explained it as folks who travel there eat the food and bacteria that they aren’t use to settles in the stomach which causes an upset stomach. We know what that leads to. Unfortunately her husband ended up getting “Bali Belly”. They did partake in some preventative measures such as probiotics and charcoal pills 2 weeks or 30 days before they went to Bali to help prevent the belly issues. She even bought the charcoal pills along. I guess something to consider when traveling to certain parts of the world.

I’m NOT new here lol. But I had to tell you (because) you mentioned it. I bought a house 1 year ago. And it was because of your vlogs that I handled the water coming into my basement very well. I wanted to breakdown and cry. But seeing the clips of your basement with water and seeing you just keep it moving/pivot helped me so much. Thank you. I was like they didn’t panic or sell their house so I’ll be fine. P. S. The possibility of mold due to water terrifies me. So we have a foundation specialist helping us. And you’re correct…we had to do the roof & gutters first. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ Imagine buying a house, having it inspected, and having to replace the roof 1 year later 😔😔😔.

Imagine renewing your insurance n your rate increases a lot n you find out because your roof is old n even though it doesn't leak they want you to replace it

I had a sump pump system installed. Since my basement was/is unfinished. They pretty much dug up the concrete around the foundation, put a drainage system. The gutters drain into it as well. I haven’t had any water since.. but with that cost. IM NEVER SELLING just bury me here so I can get my moneys worth 😩😩. Homeownership cost never stop.
Bali sounds so nice.. For your next trip, would you consider announcing on UA-cam first- for your long, long, time day one followers, who don't use Instagram (pretty please) ??
