  • The best healthy kettle no metals or plastic will leach into the herbal tisane, herbal infusion or herbal decoction giving you the purest and healthiest results. The healthy kettle can be used on a ceramic and gas hob as well as in the dishwasher, I just rinse my kettle, it’s that easy! There is a thermal shock resistance of 150 degrees Celsius as well as it being classified as type 1 borosilicate glass in accordance with American and German pharmacopeia standards. The thermodynamic quality of the kettle is excellent, it took six minutes to boil on the electric hob from cold. You can buy the kettle I used in the video from the company website or from Amazon, the links are:

    Borosilicate glass is a type of glass that contains boron trioxide which allows for a very low coefficient of thermal expansion. This means it will not crack under extreme temperature changes like regular glass. Its durability has made it the glass of choice for high-end restaurants, laboratories and wineries.

    I own a beautiful Jenaer glass teapot that is 40+ years old-the design that is in the museum-so this kettle might be just the thing.

    Can you please explain why do you need to take off the lid to boil the water since your lid is made out of glass?

      Actually there could be lead within the glass! Unfortunately glass can contain lead and can’t be trusted as long as we can’t prove a given product is really lead-free... (Yeah, it’s really tricky these days!)

    I see you're using an induction cooktop. I thought glasswear wouldn't work on induction cooktop. Can you please confirm? Thank you for the video!

      There is a induction version of the glas Jena kettle.

    • @brunosco
      @brunosco 3 роки тому

      It’s vitroceramic, can’t be induction with glass, except with an additional disc of metal as suggested by another comment (induction version).

    But you're using bad tap water which has all the bad metals you are trying to stay away from. Instead, why not try using filtered or distilled water?

    "Purity and Health", pouring water from tap... Only God knows what is inside this tap water that you did not make by yourself. The only pure water that you are supposed to drink is distilled water that you made at home.

    That kettle is known to explode shards of glass. Is that healthier than tap water? Next time do your research before preaching about a product you know nothing about.

      Where is the evidence of this? I have this tea kettle and have never worried about this. As he described, it is heat resistant to very high temperatures. I have yet to hear someone’s direct experience of this happening
