Thanks for making great content, get you a cup of coffee or some diesel for that thirsty beast. Thanks for making my evening youtube scrolling enjoyable. Brian
@@AndruwsLumber hi you didnt help me ,i was doing ok till i saw your sweeps . i like them better , lol i do have a top saw blade already , thanks so much for all your help . john
Dam nice lumber Boys love watching your videos. Takes me back a lot of years I miss sawing lumber but I am to old now. Thank you so much for the video. God Bless
It backs up the head blocks automatically. If you go watch the video. Sawing chestnut oak/ explaining the set works. In this video we go over it really good. Thanks for watching
The mill I run is from sawmill hydraulics ( helle). And it’s a 2x2 square pocket and we use wouldn’t 1 7/8x 1 7/8 with a pc of brass screwed to it so it doesn’t wreck the track the brass just wears down and replace as needed
That bark spit thrown on the camera lens at 7:00 is a great reason not to be in the line of fire of the sawblade. Many a sawmill has holes in their building directly in line of the blade. But it is a favorite place for unsuspecting people to want to watch. Enjoyed the video.
When it comes to who is sawing and who is the off bearer, how is that decided between the two of you? Are there any plans to build a shelter around the mill to provide some shade and keep the weather out?
Would you cool if you could install a roller that’s after the saw so the boards and slabs don’t just sit there I’m sure it could be hooked up to your drive system there
hi there thanks for the shout out , been raining so much haven't got back out there , i have to many wheels .more good sawing john

Nice boards, Andruw. Would there be any advantage to soaking those sweep dowels in oil like the saw guides? Just curious.

We just pick who’s sawing. No real decision. And yes we plan to build a shed one day. Thanks for watching
A old sawyner taught me to always keep the saw in the shade. He said the hot sun would effect the saw .
What do you do with all your sawdust ?You have excess .
We just try to give it to people. Thanks for watching
I would like to see your slab system, how you get rid of them.
We have a video out on it. It’s called how to use waste at a sawmill. Thanks for watching
We once sawed a big order of 3x10s.
Nice. Thanks for watching

We could put something there but we don’t mind it sitting there till the offbearer is ready for it. Thanks for watching
What is the actual dimension you saw your 2x10's? SR
2 1/8x 10 1/8. We usually try to give 1/8 for shrinkage. Thanks for watching
