  • What a long road it was to get to the point of making this video. A string of bad luck with two broken down race cars and a broken down tow vehicle meant it was grind time to get everything back in order. With a huge thanks to my support system, we got the engine pulled out of my 1971 Chevy Nova, put a new camshaft in it and put it all back together with new valve train components. At the same time, Ultimate Transmission in Boise, ID built us a brand new converter for my dads 1970 Chevy Camaro big block and we got that swapped in as well.
With two running cars, I made it back to Firebird Raceway, Idaho to test the new converter in the Camaro and get back into the points chase in PRO in the Nova. I battled some minor hiccups with the Nova but all in all I would say it was a successful weekend gaining some more points in the series although I didn't go as many rounds as I hoped for. The Camaro... is a different story. Make sure to check this one out!
