Your cards should be in front of your chips so that they remain visible to all players. Seats 2,3,4,5 cannot see your cards behind your chips. Always arrange your chips horizontal along with the rail instead of vertical extending out into the middle of the table. That also opens up the mystery of bigger denomination chips being behind the wall, leading to some possible game protection scenarios.
Had the floor call my quad queens dead, after i was declared the winner. one of the two all iners who lost flicked his cards in the middle, one flew past the pile of chips hit my face up queens, making one of my cards stand up and roll head over heels in slow motion off the table. The floor somehow called my hand dead... even though, my single queen on the table still would have won that hand. Had two people playing aggressive into me, in poisition with quads for about a $4k pot. This was really sad, because this was early in my poker grinding days and losing that pot was a rediculous set back that should never have been.
Yep saw a nut flush declared dead because the dude was so excited, he slammed it down on the table and it bounced up (off the edge of the cards) and landed face down instead of face up... never left the table or anything and never went near the much, but they said he basically "show folded" his hand by putting it face down in front of him. He didn't fight for it, but I was amazed.

@@chpokervlog Actually, the construction of the sentence suggests that the floor did call your hand dead. However, there is an implication that you may have had the winning hand. There is no legit poker room where that hand should be dead. The river can be dealt and the deck can be run through to see that the 5 of spades is the only card missing. Your hand has to be mucked which it isnt and even if somehow the 5 of spades was horrificly declared dead, the 4 of spades is still live to river a flush as you do not have to have 2 cards to win the pot.
8:48 Why just calling the open with JJ there? Just 3-bet him and let him stack of with his garbage and if you pick it up also great. 13:01 Easy fold on the turn like you said yourself. You don't beat a single hand there on the turn.
In case he had something like k7 clubs, dunno if he’s gonna call there, and we’re 4 handed so likely to go heads up without a 3 bet anyways was my thought process
Shouldn't be Dead if Everyone Sees there's No Cheating but you Should let the Floor get it or Stop being Fancy & Flip them over & Not Flick them over!!!
Card rooms have rules for a reason. If this card room DOES have that rule, it SHOULD be dead, NO QUESTION. If they do NOT have tat rule, then the floor gets to make a ruling, and all kinds of mayhem can ensue. Please be aware not everyone is 'innocent' and it should NOT be left to the floor to 'guess.'
I had pocket aces, raised a guy all 4 streets, the board rivered quad sevens, he had A 3 off. He turns his hand over, I turned mine over and one card catches an edge and flips over, face down. The whole table except the dealer sees it. But when the floor is called over they say I folded. Yeah, I'm still salty about that and won't go back there.
When you limp raise with a strong hand you might as well turn it face up. Sure, you may trap some guy making a raise, but you broadcast your hand strength to the whole card room. Better to raise normally to disguise your strength. UNLESS, you're also mixing up your limp raise range with non premiums. But most people don't.
Look at the simplest math: How many card pair combination is above pocket Queens, therefore what the odds of having Qeens beaten pre-flop is just so slim to none. If you limp on your Queens, might as well fold it. Or might as well quit poker all together.
I notice that when you open, you get multiple callers over and over again. IMO, you're opening too small. Increase your open size until you are getting one (maybe two) callers consistently. You'll find that you win more of these hands. Even aces against 4 callers loses a significant amount of time. IMO, if you open or 3-bet preflop and you get more than two callers, you've failed! The goal is to get one caller, but two is ok. Three? Failed! Play the rest of the hand very cautiously!
@@chpokervlog Really? You ever see a magic trick? You can have all the cameras you want, stare at the magician's hands, and you won't figure out how they do it. Card off the table. Automatic dead hand. Made worse when you picked the card up. They should have killed your hand. Be more careful. You're also hiding your cards from half the table by keeping them behind your chips. You're clearly a regular, so they let you get away with two infractions any competent dealer or floorperson wouldn't have allowed.
Limp re-raise is a terrible play. Limping is completely unnecessary. If it's not worth raising then fold. Only over-limp in late late position if no aggressive players behind you. You can literally NEVER limp and have a great win rate. It splits and caps your range it's not really good at all.

@@chpokervlog the fact that you're recording it has zero to do with the poker rules, small stakes or large. Lmao. It's the floors discretion there. He didn't do it intentionally. For the benefit of the game any floor worth their salt is NEVER killing that hand
Depends on the rules of the house. Many rooms do have a rule that if a card leaves the table it is immediately dead (which is a good rule). Especially so if someone other than the floor touches the card once it leaves the table. I really don't care if we can sift through the muck or the deck and count all 52 cards. It would be a trivial thing for an average mechanic dealer to rig. And I am still shocked that poker rooms allow active recording of live play with super computers that have cameras, microphones, bluetooth, airplay, airdrop, etc. Bloggers and cheaters have ruined the game.
Your idea of trying to limp reraise big hands will lead to disaster. Just open QQ and hope for 3 callers and a clean board and you’ll win more money in a bigger pot. Plus you won’t run into any big blind specials where you get crushed by two pair in a hand the villain might otherwise fold.
