i heard that the brackets were different and the wiring wouldnt work for some of the adjustability on the performance seats is that true or not
Brackets were identical. Wiring will depend on the seats you are installing VS the ones you are removing. All of the buttons worked, including the heated function.

How do you get the side cover lower trim of the seat at the start you already have it off

Did you need modules in order for them to move back and forth mechanically?
Hi. Nope, thankfully didn't need to the swap the modules over. I made sure the seats I purchased had the same options as my original seats (Full power with heated function), and also these were from the same year of vehicle, 2016. One thing I was expecting to possibly have to do was swap out the passenger presence sensor, as I'd read on the forums that Mercedes did fit a different variant of the sensor on certain years/models of seats) but that wasn't the case for me, as my car did not throw any error code when these new seats were plugged in.
Would a swap from a cabriolet c43 performance to coupe work the same?
Is there any wiring difference or is it all plug and play? More concerns about things having to be changed.

They were plug and play. Heated function worked. All power adjustments worked. I got performance seats from a 2016 C63, and my car was a 2016 C450. If the performance seats match with your factory car seat adjustment options, the passenger presence sensor may be the only complication. Most AMG Performance seats are equipped with a Passenger weight sensor, but normal seats - just with the "passenger presence" sensor which gives an error after the seat change. Luckily for me, I didn't have to swap the sensor over as I got no error code. If you did get a error message then you'd simply need to take the weight sensor out of the performance seat lower seat cushion and install your old "passenger presence" seat sensor.

Looks great! I’m trying to do the exact same to my C43AMG coupe. I swapped out the rear seats with the red pepper leather seats (same color as yours) from a C63, but I cannot find the front seats. Looks like you found them on EBay?
Yes, eBay is a great place to find some performance seats for sale. Always a gamble buying used parts from salvage cars, however. Sometimes there can be extra damage upon arrival as the salvage yards don’t take care with delicate parts such as leather interior pieces. My seats were literally thrown in a box, upside down, with ZERO packaging material to protect the seats. Go figure….

Hey! Since you’ve tried both I’m curious. What’s the comfort like of the original vs the bucket seats?
Some owners complain the performance seats can feel overly firm, but I’m on the slimmer side and don’t find the bolstering to the bothersome. Did a 2 hour drive without any comfort issues, so they get a thumbs up from me.

How hard would you say is to get the front seats in and out without scratching?
I had no trouble, just put a blanket over the door sills to make sure I didn't catch the plastic with the bottom of the seat frames. I also removed the steering wheel to give me plenty of room on the drivers side.
Did all the plugs and bolts all match up and good or any modifications ?
Bolts match up, no modifications at all.
What year is your car and what year is the c63 your seats came out of?
Both 2016
What rims are those?
I have the designo seats and they are the most uncomfortable ride. Sports seats are worst especially with the run flats . The head rest does not adjust. And you never did say how much you spent on all that. Has to be real expensive.
