"Tony!!!! WHAT????? I have some buggered up threads for you to cut/re-cut if you can. WHY did you do that? I didn't...." let the games begin!! Look forward to Part Two and hope all is well Jeff!
Man, you debuted this video while I was at work! I will have to say though @1:30... the cleaning sure made the box look better! Oh, Tony is going to love that mushroomed shaft!
Can't wait to see you and ole Rick in Mollala working on a restoration in his new shop...if he ever gets to finish the shop. Know any Amish that are willing to do a "barn raising" for him ?
If you need a wide screwdriver use a chisel not the one for wood the other one and then you can turn it by using an adjustable wrench. Three thumbs up from Denmark. 👍👍
Some of the old school guys like me refer to those bearings as "cup" bearings - not to be confused with the ball & cage bearings you usually find to be in use. - Max Giganteum
Jeff, if it isn't too late... and even though I'm sure you thought of this... look into attempting to find an adjustable die matching the threads on the end of the shaft. Open up the die to get it onto the threads then close it until contacts the undamaged threads. Ensure the die is properly seated (teeth match up with the existing threads) before tightening all the way. Slowly wrench it back off to clean up the damaged threads and you may avoid any further repairs. Remember to position the die so that it cuts when being turned off. Will this process work? Thread chasing can save threads, yes. Does it always work? No. Success depends on how much damage is done to the existing threads and the talent of the mech making the repairs. Still, if you have the correct die then there is no reason to not try. Even buying the correct die can be cost effective versus paying for machine work to save the part. It'll be interesting to see where this one goes... and where it ends up. best wishes! 👍🏻🔩⚙ - Max Giganteum
@ Jeff I was watchin couple year old series where you got an f250 for a guy in Sweden i believe. In that video you mentioned being demented then said "well i did listen to Dr. Demento". I used tp listen to him on 94.7 KMET i think. Anyways was wondering if you remember this one For me I've got a bottle in front of me, and Jimmy's got a frontal lobotomy, it's just two ways to kill the pain the same Well I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than to have to have a frontal lobotomy, i might be drunk but at least im not insane. Bringin back the memories man, i was a very young kid listening to that while i was supposed to be goin to sleep for elementary school the next day, just turned 53 a week ago. Hope this brings a shit eatin grin to your face. Just found your channel, ill be watchin more for sure. Also watched the colt gas tank rescue, love that type of content my man. Good day to you.
I do remember that! How 'bout Dead Puppies? They don't come when you call. They don't chase squirrels at all. Dead puppies aren't much fun, no no no.... Then of course, I'm looking over my dead dog Rover who I hit with the power mower...
Can't wait to hear what Grumpy has to say...lol
As someone who lives close to a wet Canadian border.... I sympathize with your mosquito problems
Thanks Jeff

Muita água!! 😅😅
Maybe the steering box needs lithium grease, since it fills with water.
I'm surprised you didn't JBWeld those rust pits and call it a day.
I guess out Washington/Oregon they have the 4 engine, furry kind of mosquitos...
It has been a while Jeff... here's to hoping that you're still 6 feet over. How was the Summer? Any updates? Best wishes from Dallas!
