I doubt they are going to let Zack live considering his death had Cloud be his living legacy, giving him the buster sword which led to the events of 7.

If you are able to find some way to play the original crisis core, it honestly doesn't look that much different than the remake/remaster/whatever that they're releasing this winter.

Curious to see if they'll change Crisis Core's ending in Reunion. Keeping the original would definitely be emotional as heck.
Imagine if they do two endings. One where if you die during the big battle, the original ending plays, while if you win and defeat everybody, you get the remake ending.

at one hand, the original end was amazing and so emotional, and would be such a pity if they change... at other hand, I'll cry happy tears seeing him surviving the battle and successfully reaching Midgar with Cloud, if this is the case

So you’re telling me…that within a few months of each other…I can play two redone versions of Crisis Core…and break down like a total baby boy while doing so for like the eleventy-seventh time… What a time to be a Final Fantasy fan. :)
I did not expect so much HYPE when I woke up this morning. Crisis Core was almost the first narrative to make me cry. The actual first was 358/2 Days, but Crisis Core came along in my life soon after.

Ok, so I’m diving into some speculation here, but hear me out: Crisis Core Reunion comes out this year. Rebirth comes out in the winter of next year, so late December, early January. My money’s on December though for holiday sales. Final Fantasy XVI comes out in the summer of next year, so a proposition: with all of this coming out in such a short time span, I ask this - what are the possibilities of Kingdom Hearts IV coming out next year as well? After all, Kingdom Hearts III was three years away, which is a similar time window to Final Fantasy VII Remake. I personally expected KH4 to come out sometime next year around the holiday seasons, but with this……it is very possible we don’t see KH4 until 2024, but for speculation’s sake, how does a Spring 2023 window sound? Truly that would make a great year for Square if three big titles came out that year.
Ay can someone tell me where to start with final fantasy. I wanna get into this but don’t know what to start with also I don’t wanna play any turn based games. I just wanna know where to start in terms of 7
@@Aaron-ix8zh Well, if you’re specifically talking about Final Fantasy VII, my best opinion would always be the original game. However, with the Remake taking its own twist to the original game, I’d say start with the Remake first to get introduced to the main cast of characters. Once Crisis Core Reunion comes out, play that to get introduced to Zack’s original story and how he ties into the entire story of FFVII then next year, play Rebirth.
@@Aaron-ix8zh If you want to start with any of the 7 games, play Remake. Remake’s battle system is real time. You can also play FF15 or even wait for 16 if you don’t like turn based combat. Every FF game is it’s own universe so start with whatever game peaks your interest the most!

Ehh, it's hard to point a finger at any specific starting point, especially taking into account every mainline game of this series is its own thing (aside from direct sequels).
In terms of Final Fantasy 7... the best starting point would be the FF7 itself as lot of other entries of the multi-media project accompanying it have much more sense after doing so.

Tbh that would make the most sense, why make zack survive in an alternate universe within the remake, remake crisis core aswell and not link it to that lmao, they did emphasis the ending a lot in the trailer too which leads me to believe it won't end the same way this time.
Make it a "True Ending" bonus scene. Like have to NG+ with certain conditions to rewrite Zack's fate.

I'm calling it now FF remake came out in 2020, Rebirth will come in 2024, and the 3rd entry will be called Reunion (fan speculated) and will come out in may-june 2027 making it a 7 year cycle and wrapping the story up in a pretty bow ❤️❤️❤️ no matter what I am so so hyper for remake pt 2. I don't know if this is out of place asking this but I hope the dev teams making all these great games are all being fairly compensated and their mental health is intact, can you imagine turning out triple A titles in such a short period? I'm sure they all have teams working on this but wow, you can certainly see the hard work their putting into these games.

Something I noticed. They altered the Buster Sword in the cutscenes (and most likely did it in post rather than 'remaking' those cutscenes) so it looks more like it does in Remake........I think this game isn't going to end with Zack's death but will rather lead into the begining of FF7 remake

I‘m soooo excited and grateful that they are going to remaster crisis core but why call it reunion? FF7R is going to be a trilogy and with Remake,Rebirth and Reunion, we would have had the best titles (narratively wise). Kinda lost opportunity there.
