This starred the Welsh actress Myfanwy Talog, who was the long term partner of David Jason until her tragic death from cancer aged 50, in 1995. Ironically, this play's tragic leading lady was played by Nicola Paget, who suffered her own issues - she was diagnosed with manic depression, after becoming obsessed with Labour spin doctor Alastair Campbell.
@angizoink Yes indeed, it was a very strange episode - Google it. Poor Nicola was clearly very disturbed. I see the attraction though - remember, at the time Labour was in government, and Alistair Campbell was always in the news. Power is a great aphrodisiac!
Still not too sure, but I do suspect that this man had caused the hanging death of that girl, or she was just a angry ghost who lashed out at the closest man.
SPOILER ALERT!!!! IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED IT YET DON'T READ ON! It sounds like it was David who caused her death, no question. He was weird about why he went and why he stopped going. When it "No longer amused" him (because she was pregnant). That's why his aunt left the house to him, almost certainly. She knew that Caenwyn would have her revenge on him. It's why he tripped about his wife wearing the ring too, he recognized it as Caenwyn's.
( Sunday -- Morn. : August 21, 2016 ) Now, this particular story could really be stretched out a little and to be made to a movie. I really mean what I'm saying because you see I listen to it, but then I miss you too it again directly afterwards because you know sometimes if you listen to something or watch a movie a second time you catch things that you've missed. This was actually scary story especially when she was in the Attic and looking at the wedding dress, and talking about the embroidering at the top of the neck of the dress. But then moments later she find a knife in the chest and of course she cut yourself on it. Then from time to time when she was alone there were ghostly sigh's, no I'm not sure if I'm spelling it right sigh's like long Ghostly aw awwwwwww. Are you catching what I'm saying, then there was another scene when she is it was in bed with her husband and, the light source hearing the young girl that was dead and hung from the tree she was speaking to her and her husband did not hear it. But what her husband did here was the same Ghostly awww's in the hall right outside there bedroom. And in like any English story or movie where there are servants and visitors come the servants always try to hide the secrets of the the estate. And in this case when none of the family that are there they have the run of the estate the servants. So in this case the wife and her inquisitiveness and being so curious the spirit in, engulfed her basically possessed wife and she killed her husband and then she went out of her mind. Well yes my comment became a good few paragraphs, ( and I apologize for that ) So if you're down to this part I appreciate you reading what I put down. And yes I really do believe that this could be made into a very good horror movie. But keep it on the same floor mats as how it is do not updated and keep the story in the same time of where it is. Where I think it's probably between 1952 and 1974. But give it todays film advancement, or even start the movie in today's world and when they travel to England make them American relatives that inherited an estate. But when they get there pay someone to go back in time. Don't you think that'd be a pretty good start of the movie. Which is very stuffed up servants that stayed in the 1950s where are the rest of the world kept on moving on. WELL, I'm Doing it again, I apologize once more this will be my last , paragraph. But you can probably see of how my detailing and how I expressed , how much I enjoyed the story. And there's one more thing I'd like to say is , that i do a lot of writing on my own as in short stories and you already probably, realized I love horror any good deep suspense movie or story. So with that being said, I would really like to thank the person that lady is available on UA-cam because I really do enjoy them, and I already have a plan for a story that I'm going to write that's going to be on the same similarities has the story. Now I know. That may sound senseless, but it's a hobby of mine. I just hope you will continue to find more of these, ( FEAR ON FOUR ) stories and put them up. Again sorry I know I wrote a book theoretically, really I enjoyed them ,thanks again and now on to the next !
