I’m not a proclaimed Oasis fan, but this song really gets me when I hear it. Born in 1987, this song was played so much on the radio as I was growing up and coming-of-age. It reminds me of so many people and places that aren’t around anymore. As people die and the times change our cities and towns, sometimes all that survives are the memories and the music.

A voice that still inspires, even i today's generation! I'm 16 and to me this beats repetitive "beats" any day. The growl and raspy voice is in its prime here!!!

Can you see it behind the music? Don't you understand? no man, it is not the lights, the set, the Wembley, is not the guitar. It is the vibe, can you feel it? Oasis was a lifestyle, a vibe , a way to take the life and do "whatever" you want. Freedom, happiness, sadness, strength.. A champagne supernova. Oasis was not just a band. Oasis was a generation. A true and real , raw, Rock n Roll Band and they lived it at its fullest.. they took everything there were on the fucking table, they didn't left anything.. close your eyes and imagine how a band should be .. if you notice it's all the qualities that oasis had back then... they have been the best band of our generation.. a band that will live forever, the music will live forever and we fans will live forever.
This is my favorite version! I remember finding this version somewhere a few years back, losing track of it, and finally found it again on here. I am overly happy right now!
Even though his voice was slipping right at 2000, I love how Liam only had one or two bad performances of Champagne Supernova, all of which were in 2004. I guess it's just that good of a song?
My favorite live show by them. Liam's voice at this point wasn't blown out and dry, and the other band mates behind Noel and Liam were vastly more talented compared to their 90s lineup.
