@@michaellofthouse7168 you had a different journey. I was born I the 80s, so I missed the 70s and most of the 80s, but when you first find a band and dive into them...that's an amazing feeling. I still remember being exposed to Zeppelin, Beatles and Floyd in my teens. Even though I missed amazing era's of music, finding them in my own way was special.
Amy Martin hey man. I can't notice his voice, as you just said. I mean I started to listen to Oasis for not so long along ago. When did he started using drugs? that's sad 😐
Actually noel's songs have a unique and special melody and i love them for that. And Liam's voice, while i think it had better times, is a great voice. Maybe they aren't the best guitarrist and singers in the world but they made a band that changed music and made the most memorable and awsome songs. They became famous together never forget that.

It’s unique to him because no other sing wants to sing like it. It’s a technique that shreds through your vocal chords. The way he sings is why he lost his voice more than anything else. Also with that is how he basically yells a ton of the songs live. He recently did an interview where he talked about how he can still sing right but it can’t be heard over the drums and guitars. One of my favourite singers of all time and an undeniable legend none the less.
I love this version of the guitar solo. Its the closest to the original. What's sad is that Oasis disbanded at their peak form. The lineup was perfect :(
I have never really been an Oasis guy but what I see from this and some of the other few videos is that they truly were an amazing band and their lazy and gritty style was awesome and quintessential for them.
Same here :) im into 70s and 80s rock and metal but love these performances which just send a chill down my spine, especially when they sing this and dont look back in anger and the entire crowd sing along :)
This video inspired me to pick up a guitar back in December 2012. Now nearly 8 years later I’m set up on the right side of stage playing lead guitar! If you have a dream or a goal, work at it, and one day it might just happen :)
I can't begin to explain why, but as soon as those first guitar notes from this performance resonated in to my ears, I just bawled my eyes out. Therein lies the power of Oasis.
It's one of the songs like Hotel California and Stairway To Heaven where time flies and you don't even realize you were listening to a same song for 7 minutes!!
I remember when they played this song live at the MTV music awards in 1996 in Europe the amps were turned up so loud part of the parts ceiling was falling on the crowd below such great memories
i don't see why ppl r dissing this vid. sure, liam's vocals don't sound perfect, but he sounds good enough to play a bad ass show. plus, im sure he sounds much better than any of u ppl hating on him. he and his big bro (especially noel) are very talented musicians

When they released WTSMG, while it’s not even the best Oasis album, they tapped into something within the British public that probably won’t ever be seen again. The country was so much less divided in the 90s and they played a big part in that.
The last of the truly great rock-n-roll bands. These guys NEVER lip synced any of their songs when they made appearances on television. Clean, crisp, and very tight. Oasis had the best sound since The Beatles....
its sad oasis had a falling out, they are one of the few bands i wanted to see live Gosh, why is his singing tecnique so damn uniqe His stand and positioning during his concerts is so recognisable and iconic
as much as this is in my opinion one of the greatest live performances ever i cant help but be overwhelmed by the fact that i will never be able to witness this awe inspiring band live
A live performance isnt anything about how perfect his voice could be. You see the people in the crowd? Singing along to every fucking word? Its about the amazing feeling the music gives you.

Everyone's going on about Liam's voice but everyone should be talking about Noel's insanely good guitar here
not a patch on his guitar solo from gmex 97...not even close
I feel bad for the new Oasis fans that will never have have the chance to experience what an Oasis concert is like.
Thats me :(

What's with that british haircut which looks like you laid a fork across your forehead?
It's not the rap and the hip hop that are making rock obsolete; it's the absence of bands like Oasis. We need them desperately.
Even though his voice has changed a lot, I still find him very talented! Yes, the smoking, drugs and drinking have had affect on him, so has age.
Amy Martin hey man. I can't notice his voice, as you just said. I mean I started to listen to Oasis for not so long along ago. When did he started using drugs? that's sad 😐
Amy Martin Give a listen to his new album and live perfomances, his voice is better than it has ever been in the last 15 years or so.
Iury Renato lol Liam and Noel ever used drugs. They stop To take un 1999
Iury Renato they made their best albums on coke
Actually noel's songs have a unique and special melody and i love them for that.

Liam sounds great here imo
its sad oasis had a falling out, they are one of the few bands i wanted to see live
Same. Hope they get back together.
I would pay good money to see them live just once.
They're government doesn't like a band that unites people.

This could be my favourite version of this song...

+Joy Imanuel a kinda mix between Johnny Rotten and past master John Lennon
it's unique cause if you do it, you'll hurt your chords

This is one of my favorite songs for sure! Through the lowest and highest moments.
this song is sooo dear "prudenced", love it.

During the solo, Liam looks EPIC just standing and looking, Noel looks EPIC doing the guitar solo.

Lol what
And Liam is a Lennon fanboy, named his son Lennon too lol

The missing harmonica is so noticeable and iconic to the song. It reminds me of the weird voice that’s missing when the pumpkins play 1979 live.
They were the best band out of England from the past nearly 20 years. This is also one of their best songs.

That solo just kills me every time. Noel was on fire that night. I hope we'll to see him playing that soli live again

+burningkarma I think so too, Gem Archer is an incredible guitarist.
+ladymay30 andy Bell is much better than Gem..
He played guitar in Beady Eye
The Rocking Woodstocks Bell is great for sure but I think he was not really lucky in Oasis for playing the Bass.

It's so weird the way he puts his nose on the mic
