This Hawaii week has made me smile, thinking about the long journey you’ve had to get here: selling your possessions, leaving the 9-5, and hoping everything would eventually work out. This is proof positive of the phrase, “the greater the risk, the greater the reward.” 🙂
Adam fair play to u for being so good to your mom and dad, this is a sign of a really good person raised well by really good people. Your mom reminds me so much of my late mother who I lost in 1997. She was only 52 and I was just 18. She was such a kind loving mother and I didn't get enough time to show her how much I loved her. I was young and took her for granted.

I was lucky enough to live in Oahu for 4 1/2 years and have been back twice to Auluani since then and I already want to go back. I truly love the videos where your mom is included..sadly my mom passed away in 2022. But we had plans for when my father passed away one day and that me and her would enjoy our time together like we never were able before .. but things def took a different unexpected turn but I do love seeing you and your mom enjoying life together !

Before COVID, the Ulu Cafe used to have Pumpkin flavored Dole Whip with candy corn topping. It was seriously something I looked forward to every year since I live here. They haven't had it since they fully reopened. I'll have to go try the watermelon! I'm so glad you had a good time!

I was at secret beach a few years back and there was a seal taking a nap on the shore. They had someone there to help keep humans back so the seal could nap without being disturbed. When I was talking to them about it I learned that it's common behavior and happens regularly. I was worried initially because in NY when seals are on shore they're usually in distress, but Hawaiian seals are not and just need a nap.
Great vacation with mom! You both are so blessed. Thankfully, we have a local yogurt shop that has Dole Whip in Pineapple, Lime, Orange, Watermelon and Mango. They rotate flavors daily. The servings are huge and it actually freezes very well. Happy trails!
Loved our stay there, still have the mugs from the resort. The ABC store was great for food and there was a Mexican restaurant - but Monkeypod was really good and always busy. Didn't have all those colourful bands but it was 2014 when we were there, things change. Great vlog
