I had a similar experience at Versailles, years ago. I asked (in French) if it would be possible to take a tour in English, and they said to go sit on a bench at one end of this vast, empty hall. Shortly before the tour started, the guide came to collect me, and I found that I had somehow jumped an hours-long queue. I not only got an excellent tour, but got to practice my French some more when the guide took me round afterward to some spots that tourists generally never see. I even ran into the guide on the trip back to Paris--if I hadn't already been on my way to a romantic rendezvous, I could have had my way with him. Ah, youth is wasted on on the young!

These people are literally the first non-scandinavians who can pronounce Malmö. I never thought I would live to see this day...

I'm glad I'm not the only one who rates Eurovision songs on a 100 point scale every year... Except my taste in music is apparently pretty much the exact opposite of yours

The best thing about 2016 Eurovision was Joe and Jake singing "I come a lot when I'm with you" 👍

The graph is spot on! They predicted where Belgium was going to end! And were awfully wrong about Ukraine, but that aside

Or maybe they just wanted to reward all people who came that early.

I'm drunk, so I didn't notice the difference in lighting. Also I'm American so I dgaf about Eurovision but that sounds like a p cool experience. Reminds me of when I was at the very front at a concert by Neutral Milk Hotel a couple years ago. Never thought I'd see Jeff live, but then I did.

Is it possible to enjoy Eurovision without liking the kind of music they usually play? I've always despised the whole thing :)

There where so many joyful comments about going to this country and we loved that country, do you think that will still happen after Brexit?
