Do you think the refereeing in yesterday's fencing match between cheung and Macchi was fair？ Cause I have heard a lot of Italian saying that this match is rigged and the referees were biased towards Cheung because cheung is asian
Seemed normal to me tbh
i just have a quick look at the referees of his matches ,table of 32,16 ,8 and the semifinals ,4 matches , Macchi his 4 opponents all non European,2 from ASIA,1 Egypt and an America, his 4 matches all got at least one European referees ,2 of 4 matches got full European referees( referee and video referee) , so all 4 matches Macchi won, heard no one said because European referees biased toward to Macchi ,chenug and macchi toally 9 matches, if assistant Referee doesn't count, i think 8 of 9 at least one European referees , to me people say something like that right after the race sometimes just heat of the moment .
