This is insane. Not many people can even deadlift 2.5 times their bodyweight!
God strength
True but also not true. Only two other lifters have snatched 2.5x bodyweight in the snatch other than Naim. Wu Jing Biao snatched 139g at 55kg and halil mutlu snatched 138.5 at 55. So only 3 lifters have achieved it. Long quinquan also came very close at 2.49x bodyweight.
Naim; one of the few athletes we witnessed and lived in the same century.
7:52 Dude he literally snatched 152.5 kg like its nothing. Look at him,he is literally smiling like its a usual thing.
During the video I knew the Legend will show up at last.... And boy he was something. Perfect example of Size doesn't matter
I couldn't roll a C&J weight across the floor, and Naim Suleymanoglu hoists it over his head....Amazing.
Rest in peace legend Naim!
I watched naim live in the barcelona 1992 olimpics, he was out of this world…!!! 💪
this is the most beautiful compilation i have ever seen!!! AWESOME
Dimas' lifts were flawless. Impressive technique.
I just realised that Dimas' coach was yelling at him "DROP THE BAR!!! DROP ITTT!!!" (in Greek) because he struggled at the part you put it on your chest, but he continued and did the incredible feat of streanght!
@@jimmys1128No you are wrong, he was shouting " Κατσε κατω απο την μπαρα, κατσε!' meaning "Stay under the bar, stay"
@@jimmys1128 τή λες βρε μαλακα !!! Χαχααχχα
@@jimmys1128 His coach was yelling "Κάτσε κάτω από την μπάρα" - "Katse kato apo tin bara" = "Sit under the bar" to emphasise Dima's technique wich was push jerk and not split jerk where the athlete has to "sit" under the bar in lightning speed without doing the "scizor split" with his legs. This jerk is one of the most epic in History it was perfect flawless and beautiful.
"Fort comme un Turc", "Strong like a Turkish" is a famous French expression.
That is honoring to hear! 🇫🇷 🤝 🇹🇷
The man who made People say that was a turkish wrestler named "Koca Yusuf" (Big or Great Yusuf)...born 1857 and travelled around the world for wrestling competitions. Died while his journey in 1898 in Canada....some say he drowned when the ship sank he was travelling and after he helped people to get on the lifeboats....
@@jdmislove Very interesting. Thank you for sharing.
@@olivierauberger never mind, have a nice one 🤙
On dit "Turk" quand c'est pas un adjectif -> "Strong like/as a Turk"
