do not mount the brackets the way he did, flip them around and you don’t have to bend them. It also puts extra stress on the screws, stripped one of mine out bc this dude said bend the mount. Just turn the clamps to the bars around so that the bolt heads face the rider and it’ll sit much better.
They don’t fit on my bars the other way I was just saying what worked for me i tried every way possible and bending the bracket was the only way I haven’t had and issue in 2 years. My buddy has pro taper bars and it fits perfectly without bending them. Sorry about the screw tho man didn’t know they’d do that
No just had to bend my mounts I had plenty wire but I don’t recommend bending you mounts cause it did strip out my bolts but wire was all good no extensions needed
