I will never for the life of me understand why they left country music. They had such pure, perfect vocals for that genre, and their music was a breath of fresh air.

@@alisabrewer1104 from what I read in different articles it sounded like her brothers wanted to go pop so they tried that for a while, but none of the music was very good. Thankfully since I made this comment Kimberly has released a new country EP so hopefully we’ll keep getting new music from her!

One of my friends sang this song in the county jail back in 2011 it was the funniest thing I have ever heard, and shit like that. Hope to get through that bad time in life. I love this song I love band perry, and I love my friend, he ended up doing 15 years in prison, because of one night of drugs, I feel so bad I’m writing him a letter tomorrow and sending him every verse to this song to give him some hope and make him laugh the way we did back then, and let him know how good my life is and how I got my life together, just listening to country music and being a country boy there is no better country music nowadays than the stuff they played back then from the 70s until 2000 to 2015, all the new country is just straight garbage. I hope The Band Perry comes back out with some good songs. They were one of my favorites. She is a beautiful singer and a beautiful woman and I admire this band for being creative, and making it in such a hard industry. God bless everybody and God bless America.

I love how they left the accent in. Most of the time they cover it up with younger county artists or it sounds fake. This band really nails it. I don't know how authentic her accent is but sounds real and natural to me.
