VARMS U2 Flight 1992 Camperdown

This U2 was a VARMS club project. There were many, many club volunteers. The project encompassed, concept, design, wing and fuselage construct groups, paint/decorate and test. Will today's attempt at flight finally present everybody the happy ending they wish for? Keep in mind that two previous flight attempts were disastrous due to the airframe being severely nose light.

Hi Tim, this video just popped up in my feed so I thought I should watch it since I was there as a spectator for that memorable flight way back when I was just starting with RC. What's even more remarkable is that I spotted my wife briefly in the crowd, we both had a chuckle about that. UA-cam can be wonderful sometimes, thanks Tim.
