You could also c-stick back to let go of the ledge and input diagonal up and forward towards the stage with the control stick to get the double jump and strong DI forward instead of doing the quarter circle motion. You also avoid fast falling this way and don't need to be as quick with your hands.
idk if im just bad at the game but my ledgedash success rate with my lovely ganon is just 1/50 xd maybe i try this i always used my stick on left leff ledge to the right than jumped as u said in the video its an airdodge most likely well time to practice even more

Do you mean you’re able to do this without using the jump button? Just using the control stick to jump enough to get onto the stage?
