Quakers believe that the closer we are to God, the more we will be drawn into unity. If we are divided, we have missed something - some hurt or anxiety that makes one side cling to a certain position. It is therefore up to us to open our hearts to that problem and work with our opposers to bring healing, rather than reject, ex-communicate or give up on them.

Their can be no Compromise of truth and the truth being found only in orthodoxy. To unite for the sake of "love" and "peace" leads to the road of reletivism. It is not the role of orthodox to unit all beliefs into one pseudo religious institution just because we have a common belief. It is our role to make sure as orthodox we keep the orthodox faith of the church fathers alive furthermore, it is not our role to judge those outside the faith and to make any determination on what God will decide to do with each humans soul. If we have been called to the Orthodox faith it is because Christ has chosen us as a special gift to see truth in its entirety. Those that would wish to change the faith for the sake of unity are not orthodox at all and should leave the faith until you see the errors of your blinded mind. You are thinking with the mind of Satan. Ecumenism is man's way by use of what he deems as his rational mind to bring unity. The body can not be divided nor compromised with heretics or hetradox. It would be like injecting the body of christ with a poisonous vaccination and heresy will spread to every part of the church. Our job as orthodox Christians is to seek christ through the sacraments of the church to obtain theosis. Period. Anything else let it be in God's hands do not think to highly of yourself or your minds ideas as the reformers did and look what division have they brought about themselves with good intention but prideful and lofty ideas of their own self willed intellect.

Did you listen to what he was saying? He says that we should live like a Christian, sacrificially with love. Forgive me.
