Join me on a solo trip to the Uncompahgre National Forest / Telluride area of Colorado. I rented a Triumph Scrambler 1200 and took a 4 day solo motorcycle camping trip. The narration was inspired by some journal entries I wrote down during the trip - in regards to an initial question "Why am I drawn to mountains / why do I get the urge to visit mountainous areas so often?"
The quotes come from Lama Anagarika Govinda's 'The Way of the White Clouds.'
Motorcycle: Triumph Scrambler 1200
This may be my favorite motorcycle that I have rented so far. It was more capable than expected off-road (once I figured out the digital traction control modes), and felt more like a dual-sport at times. Yet, on the road, it felt even more at home. I had multiple people - who clearly were not motorcyclists - come up to me on my trip and compliment me on the appearance of the bike.

Mountains are like cathedrals, temples to time. A mountain is in the process of both rising and eroding to nothing.
Thank you, Chris, for keeping my depression at bay. I liked your older videos and this one is just as good
Stay strong, keep riding
I've always found myself drawn towards mountains. The ambience, the sheer size and beauty is unparalleled. So mighty, yet so serene :D
Great video! Telluride is truly beautiful.
Your videos are a whole genre in itself. Love each one of them. So peaceful to listen and watch.
Great words and pictures!
Awesome deep thought provoking narration and beautiful twisty ride!

Got the Scrambler 1200xe too! It’s the best bike on the market!
I especially love your videos and narrative content. Looking forwards to the next video.
Thanks
I feel like I connect with your content, and I share it on Facebook all the time. I lived in Colorado for almost 6 years. I like the new video, keep up the good work.
A great video with wise words - Thanks
Love you dude! I can only ride in the weekends, cause works.
Watching you helped me to feel like I was riding together with you into places.
And the words, that's what I called wisdom. 👍
This is exactly what I needed right now. I'm about to do the biggest motorcycle trip of my life and I'm wasting energy worrying about it instead of thinking about what I'm going to see and how different it is from Indiana.
Thanks for making this video.
Tell me about the trip :D
