Wait, you got pinned? I don't even remember doing it.
You don't appear pinned.

brother he is pinned here
@@ChaoticVoicesofAndreas damn dont even rember pinning me huh it really do be like that some times also
for sanguinius
There is no pain worse than not being able to see home, one last time.
I'd say being boiled alive and aware through it all like a lobster is worse.
“I wish I could have seen the skies of Baal one last time.”

@@guardsmen666 Everythings gone, Kharak is burning...
Mick why are you like this? Why must you torture our hearts so much that the Drukhari would shudder at our suffering?
Because the man knows how to, better than most.
"Even in death, I still serve."
Even in debt, I still serve!

Until nevermore
This when from sweet to painful in but a few seconds. No Space Marine truly deserves such a cold fate, better to die with honor than live as nothing more the an armed and armored tomb.
Me an iron hand:Shut the fuck up! It’s the greatest honor to lose all that disgusting flesh and be entombed!
Now you made that scene even sadder, thanks a lot.
You are welcome!
@@ChaoticVoicesofAndreas How dare you act a scene so beautifully from such a well written source materiel, you magnificent bastard.
this shit escalated from "oh this is kind of sad" to "AHHHHHHH,WHY"
When I saw "Ignis" written on his pauldron, I knew it was going to hurt....
How/Why?
@@adrianmiskiewicz6762
This is the Dreadnought featured in the 40k TV series "Angels Of Death" wherein said Dreadnought is critically injured retaking a ship and buying time for his brothers. You really have to watch the scene to get the full impact of whats displayed in this cool comic.
By the by i tried to keep it vague to not spoil the series too much.
Is this warhammer 40k lore or ingis corp? Either way one serious and other is not
@@iambobo227 40k lore.
@@dawnofwar4302 thank you 👍not gonna lie I barely found out about warhammer 40k lore about a few months ago
Damn that is grim dark, without too much of the graphic violence. That’s just sad. May he rest peacefully.
Sorry, but death means joining chaos. Death can not save you. Death can not save you, Death can not save anyone.
@@megazaracklordofdeathI’m a bit confused, weren’t there some fragments of the Emperor soul protecting the soul of the worthy in the warp?
I didn't think I needed to cry today... Guess I was wrong.
Why do you have to hit in the feels so damn hard man....
Becauce we caaaan
@@ChaoticVoicesofAndreas but you aren't Aperture Science
man, that made me sad so fast at the end...
Rest well son of Baal, for the you are with the Emperor now.
it's like seeing a dad who like to tell you stories since you were a kid pass away in front of your very eyes
When I saw the name "Ignis" on his pauldron, I thought: "yup, they're doing this to me again".
Ignis fought dozen of genestealers in the ship known as the sword of Baal. He clear them with all his wrath for his little brother to release the clamps holding the ship but he was overwhelmed by genestealers until the space suck all of the xenos into space.
Only in death does duty end, but only in sacrifice may they rest. 😔
Im not crying
I just remembered that time i had sand in my eye
At first, was going to say this is one pretty face Marine... then realize he is a Blood Angel... and a Dreadnought who is basically just a "mutilated torso in a big coffin"
Then you realize that Dreadnought is Ignis
Damn, that pain took me by surprise. I thought he was going to lament his home being turned into part of a factory-world, or realize he was holding the ashes of his former neighbours that recently got attacked, but nope
Rest well, Ancient One. You have endured far more than most. Rest, and see the skies of Baal by the Throne of the Emperor.
Though does the Dreadnought finally achieved true peace, but what makes this much more sad is he will not take rest with his eyes open to the skies of Baal, the land of Baal. The Beauty and breezing wind of his Father's world, his Homeworld. There's no glory, no proper relief, not much of honour to find. Only part of what makes us bonded, us Humans to one another. It still shows to how truly grim this Scifi since the early 19's. It's not the gore, it's the sadness.. There can be no peace amongst the stars, there can be wars. But there can always be painful loss..
Oh... you truly go from making funny little memes to heart-wrenching moments that fill you with sorrow and empathy for these otherwise unapproachable characters. You go from silly polite tyranids to portraits of beauty and hope and sorrow in an era of endless war.
You are awesome.
Cheers! Credit to Mick, though! He makes it so easy!
The moment I saw his name on his pauldron, I knew.
Rest, brother Ignis. May you see the skies of Baal once more in your eternal dreams.
It's okay Brother. You go home now.
We'll see you again. At The Emperor's side.
I did not know I would ever feel... chill on my skin... again... rest brother... not enough left of me... to save a second time...
ironically the original clip of it was recommended to me just yesterday but yea whats more sad is that he was a venerable dreadnought, so not only an ancient hero is lost but a literal piece of the chapters history.
Still a damn fine piece that. Teared up when I first saw it.
@@ChaoticVoicesofAndreas it is brother but at least they may finally rest. Imagine for thousands of years in complete isolation, wouldn't wish it on anyone.
They say a tear forms in the eyes of the Emperor, every time, a loyal follower of him bie’s
So every time you kill a loyalist, the Emperor of mankind cries.
warning do not kill people to make the God Emperor cry.
If that’s true then the custodes must constantly go back and forth with buckets filled with Emperor tears every day.
the transition from a Firstborn (maybe, idk) to ignis being a dreadnought shows how much he has evolved in his duty.
*Only in death, does duty end.*
it's a firstborn.... the show takes place before primaris
@@someidiotnamedtricks6397 thanks man
Just shank my heart why dont ya
Secretly a night lord. 🌙
Rest in peace cousin
RIP Brother Ignis. He went above and beyond in service to his chapter.
It's enough to make a grown man cry...
Started crying the moment I saw igneous on the side of his armor I didn't even need to see the end
The young angel knelt down and felt the sand. Even though he wore his Power Armour, he knew what sand this was. He was born on it. He walked on it. He played with it. Even through his ceramite covered fingers, he knew what sand this was. This intimate recognition could be none other than Baal, the Planet he was born on, the planet his gene father grew up on.
He could not recall how he returned, but that question could not reach him, for he was elated to finally be back, back on his home world, away from combat for just a little while. He was so excited that he could just look up into the sky and reminisce more.
Where is the sky? This and many other questions of similar nature plagued him, for when he looked up, what should have been the skies of Baal was instead nothing. Not nothing like a blank sheet of paper, more a nothing of existence, as if there was nothing there in the first place.
What colour was the sky again? How could he not know what colour the sky was, the sky he had looked up at every time he was outside? Was it red? Was it blue? Or even a meek grey? Even the ugliest of colours would have been enough to satiate his nagging question.
Why can't I remember? He then realised what was truly going on, what he was really seeing, what Baal truly was. A tired smile spread his face, knowing that he would never again feel the sands against his fingers, the sun glaring on his skin, or the skies filling his vision as he looked up.
"I would have liked....to see the skies of Baal one...last..time......."
The last words Brother Ignis had spoken, they were words of nostalgia, of want that he knew he would never get, but had realised and accepted in the end of his service to his Chapter, an angel who has served a long life fighting alongside his battle brothers, and honouring the memory of Sanguinius and the Emperor. He would not be forgotten, for to do so would be to spit on his honour and tenacity that he had fought with for so long.
Nice!!
Thanks, @@ChaoticVoicesofAndreas
Then, the blood ravens rolled up and dragged him off. Finders keepers.
well, thats a lot of emotional damage
Rest, brother Dreadnought. Your duty is done, and you have served the Emperor well.
I don't know how you do so many different voices, amazing. Emperor be with you.
🙏 Thanks, brother!
As soon as he looked up...and then his name...That scene was just heartbreaking in the series and now it is absolutely devastating. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to bawl my eyes out.
Blessed be the fallen sons of Sangiunius. Rest now, venerable ancient one.
Dont fret brother your home and primarch wait for you
Rest in peace ancient one....!!!!!
Sand? I hate sand. It’s rough, course, irritating, and it gets everywhere.
ANAKIN!
Another very well done piece.
I CAME HERE TO LAUGH, NOT CRY! *sobbing*
Darn it@
*Im crying he dint deserve to die that way*
And theres Bjorn the Fell-Handed with memory so keen his practically a giant wolf coated grandpa that tells story to sleepy wolf cubs initiates.
I sometimes feel that its more on the Mechanicus slowly dwindling knowledge that makes the 40k Dreadnoughts more grimlike.
Techmarine, in Charlie Brown voice: Oh brother
Rest brother ignis you have earned it you made the blood angels proud for your noble sacrifice
Again, I come hear to laugh, NOT TO WEEP! STOP IT!
Neverrrr
It's so easy to forget the human element in Warhammer. Even the "God" emperor was at his base human, so his children were human and so where all of the space marines.
Poor Ignis
This is one of the most brutal and beautiful depictions of 40k horror.
NO! why did you had to remind me of that!? I hate you! I’m going to cry myself to sleep!
:(
...Shut up, I'm not crying you are...
"Oh, Ignis....."
The tragedy of these demigods of war is truly the best part about them
This reminds me of those WW1/WW2 tales of wounded soldiers' last dying words being them describing their hometown. Each detail before their last breath. Heck, there's even modern tales about it as well.
God damn it man, not again 😢
This is... painful.
I'm sorry brother ignis.
Hopes the emperor take you in peace.
Damn, i knew something was up when i saw the name ignis on his shoulder pad.
you will forever be remembered brother ignis with the best dreadnought entrance i've seen and as the angel's vengeance that you are o7
No my boy, my box boy! :c
Your duty has ended now you can rest sweet angel.
congratulations. you just made this incredibly sad scene even sadder. i will now go donate my tears to the local hydro electric plant
I knew what I was in for the moment I saw "Ignis" on his pauldron.
I was still not prepared.
I saw the name on the shoulder pauldron and i was like 🥺
The second i recognised the art style, i knew suffering was on the plate today.
Yea. Got nothing for this.
I'll just... curl in a corner and cry. 😢
Why are his comics either the most happy and wholesome things ever or sad and depressed
Both sides of the spectrum
Truly one of the most human feelings
The Chaplain slowly walked toward the now-lifeless coffin. He touched its scarred surface with his armoured gauntlet, feeling the wounds - both ancient and new - across the master-crafted war machine. His face remained impassive. Or so it appeared to his brothers.
"Shame," he said it almost like a whisper, "Shame, brothers."
The others stood in silence in the half-empty space of the hive dwelling. All they could hear were grunts of fruitless effort and sounds of twisting cogs. The Tech Marine worked still. Tirelessly. His hands shook, and his mechadentrites scanned for anything he could fix.
"Brother," the Chaplain called, "Enough."
The Tech Marine ignored him. He mumbled prayers and scripture under his breath as he worked.
"That's enough."
"I can jump-start the life support system," he said at last, "His ancient hearts are still somewhat intact. It isn't unheard of, it can work, I-"
"Enough!" the Chaplain shouted and the Tech Marine threw his wrench into a metal wall. It's clanking echoed through the empty hallways but couldn't mask his sigh and grunts of defeat.
"It isn't fair. It should not have been like this."
"No," the Chaplain agreed, "But what is done is done. He would not have you desecrate his tomb in pointless efforts of rebirth. Only the Emperor may grant such blessings."
"Then why doesn't he?!" the Tech Marine shouted as he lurched up. His visors now stood mere inches away from his brother's skull mask.
"Ethereal wars are being waged beyond this mortal coil. Our brother's duty here is finished."
"It is disgraceful."
"Of course it is!" the skull-faced marine spat and turned to the others, "To have such a warrior, such a paragon of virtue, perish in a hole like this! A man who stood with Dante! A man who basked in the light of the Sangvenor! A slayer of a thousand champions! And now here he lays! Cold! Broken! Dead! What does that tell you?!"
The Tech Marine stood silent, his gaze darting from the Chaplain to his Battle Brothers and back to the ancient one.
"Flesh rots! Metal falls apart! Blood freezes and hearts stop! But the will! The spirit! The soul! They live on! They carry their strength onto the heavens! Would you sully our brother's glory because of your lack of acceptance?"
The Marine looked down, "No, Brother Chaplain."
The Chaplain turned to the others, "What is the Emperor's will?!"
"That we fight and die!" they answered in unison.
"Our brother couldn't see his home. So we will bring him there. We will bury him in the sands of Baal. In the tomb of heroes and brothers long passed. And we will continue to fight! We carry his legacy! So long as we draw breath, his will lives through us!"
"Until death!" the Battle Brothers shouted.
"Until death," the Tech Marine whispered.
The Chaplain put his hand on his brother's shoulder, "Through all of us."
The brothers looked out into the darkness ahead. Screams and roars filled the damp air once more as the heretics crawled out of their wretched holes.
Now they would face the wrath of Avenging Angels.
Another amazing story, brother!!!! Mind sending it to me?

Ustedes odian a los Eldars ??? Con los Taus ya lo se pero con los elfos ciertamente es raro.
Well, they DID create Slaanesh.
