Parents Of DISABLED Son Blessed With A FREE Yard Cleanup

  • When I was working across the street, I had an elderly couple come out and ask me how much I'd charge to cleanup their son's yard. They said that their son "is crippled", hence why I said that word in the video. Please understand that my intention was not to offend anybody, I was simply letting you know what the parents told me. I originally had the word CRIPPLED in my title but changed it to DISABLED. Sorry for any misunderstandings.
Continued... they said we don't have much that we can pay you, but if you could help us out in any way, that would be a great blessing. So I told them that I'd do it for FREE. They were in complete shock and didn't believe me.
The whole yard cleanup took around 2 days. I did what I could to give the property a clean appearance. There is plenty more that needs to be done to this property. I hope you enjoy this video!

His intent was never to insult, embarrass or hurt anyone or use any term in a derogatory way. This young man is very compassionate and hard working. His transformations say it all! Why do people always need to say that? “The world needs more people like you”? Even comments like, “If only we had more people like you, the world would be a better place”… It’s like the people who say the same comment must have forgotten or don’t pay attention that there are millions of people like him who help others in need and never charge them money or don’t expect anything in return. There’s more than a million people who take care of, give and donate food, clothing, school supplies, shelter or take someone or a whole family into their homes. There’s neighbors and friends and family that are there for each other everyday. That same comment is always said on social media, “If only…” with “The world would be a better place”. Several millions of people do a lot for people in need, is the world a better place? No. But that same old comment is copied over and over again. And those same people never go out there to help others lol 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Wrong. God frowns down on the lazy. “God helps those who help themselves “. As for the weak “don’t judge” rhetoric, sorry there is literally over 100 verses in the Bible that gives us the right to judge people for their behavior, wickedness, crimes, etc. our entire court system set up by the Founding Fathers was patterned after the teachings and recognition of an almighty creator.
“Mama” was well meaning, but simply wrong. We as God’s children in a civil society have the right to judge every day. We are to leave it up to God to judge their heart for that we can not know. Their deeds are are up to us. God even gave us a guideline on how to do it…. The Bible.

Aww, bless your heart. The Bible I’m reading is called the King James Version. It’s a fascinating read. If you read the Old Testament, it will give you wisdom concerning how man is to judge his fellow man according to God. You might not like it, but God isn’t the “free spirit, anything goes” hippie. There are rules that God, not man, has set up for us to enforce to insure that anarchy, chaos, and ungodliness does not flourish. Evil flourishes when good men do nothing.

My grandpa had a 100 acre farm and taught me so much back in the day. He raised brahma bulls and in this pasture is where I learn to drive a stick shift, on the column. One of the hardest things I'd ever done so far, I was only 11yrs old. He is amazing at what his passion looks to be. His videos mesmerize me and next thing I know, I'm close to my third one in a row. This is a good man. Giving back to his community by helping this family. He feels good inside, even though he's so tired. How can another being ever, ever, judge this man for what he's doing? When you mowed the grass, it was the icing on the cake. Maybe you can check on this person’s lawn monthly to see that it stays in good condition. I look forward to seeing your next video. Stay safe and cool.

A long, long time ago in the 1970s, my scout troop volunteered to clean up a BIG backyard of an old WWI veteran who hadn't been able to do any maintenance on his yard in 20 years. There were a dozen of us and we worked all weekend to get it done... and we still had to go back the next Saturday. He had stone steps covered in dirt that we didn't even know was there until the homeowner said they were there. He had collapsing fences, lawn furniture, old paths, birdbaths, old stone barbeque grills. It was by far, the hardest and longest job I ever did in the scouts. I just thank God there wasn't any poison oak. But we got it done. I remember the mountain of plastic bags containing the detritus that were all piled up when we were done. It really needed to be taken to the dump, but there was a couple of scouts that lived nearby who came by every trash day to put out a couple of bags or so for them to pick up. They calculated it would take more than a year for all of them to be picked up, so they stated dropping a couple of extra bags by the neighbor's cans on trash day, until someone complained and they had to stop. Still, the shear amount of work we did still amazes me.

I really don't understand how all the neighbors around that person can see that they need help and they don't come and help. But it's really nice to see someone like you that does take the time to go help these people. I used to mow the lawn for the house next door to me that had two disabled older people living there and it wasn't any big deal. I would like to see more neighbors helping neighbors.

My father had a tuberculosis diagnosis based on a chest x-ray one autumn after having operated combine harvesters from central Texas to Saskatchewan as the wheat and barley harvest moved north. Long story short, it cleared by itself. The “shadow” in his lungs was caused by inhaled dust. Something for anyone working in dusty circumstances to consider. Take care of yourselves, all.

If you ask me (and I know you didn’t) any bush/shrub/woody weeds should be taken down to the ground. They can’t manage any of the yard in general and the green plants just overgrow and become the mess we see.
You are the blessing you speak of and the occupant would probably enjoy seeing a neat and clean yard for months to come.
You are an angel to those in need.
