What started as cute little animations had turned into an obvious goal of reanimating all of the most iconic Portal 2 moments in this cool, detailed, humanoid are style.

I love how Chell won this fight out of pure spite. She had lost, the entire facility was going to explode, and she saw the moon and thought "You know what would be really ********* funny right now?" There's no way she imagined herself surviving that. Also how Wheatley's dialogue cuts off right after you fire, as if he realizes what you've done, but is taking a moment to process the sheer stupidity.
also that chevkov's gun moment - chell remembered that the portal surfaces are made from ground up moon dust so the moon is just one massive portal surface... the only possible explanation for seeing those aperture ads is that she found them playing somewhere in the facility
For real man, the ending is straight up ridiculous and that is exactly what it makes it so perfect for the game Edit: reading the reply above me made me realize that i am partially wrong, the ending is superficially ridiculous, but it honestly makes sense when you indagate deep in it. Something that, still, is perfect for this game's narrative.
I get a little emotional every time I watch this ending... It's just so well designed both audially and narratively. This was a perfect recreation, excellent job.

@@madmoblin personally I think it's the programing of the body that's making him say that, in the same way it's making him test and want to kill Chell ... if he was still himself he wouldn't kill her but rather get her to the surface, since that's the easiest way to get rid of her (especially after watching GLaDOS fail to do that exact thing twice).
the music right then too it just hangs on that last set of notes, slowly quieting with the surprisingly familiar and comforting mechanical sounds, that were always a tad "freaky" during gameplay friggin chills every time
Sea Maggie, you're a gift. Felt real genuine emotions at that last moment where Chell holds on to Wheatley. Him being humanized makes it so much more harrowing.

Second, he went mad with power and made delusional accusations towards Chell, leading to him dropping her down an elevator shaft. The forcing us to test WAS because of the itch, so I'll give him that. But he didn't have to KILL us when he found the co-op robots.

The third one, GLaDOS did do that as well, and if you remember, we "killed her, and tore her to pieces, and threw every piece into a fire." We didn't kill her when she was a potato because, as she stated, we *needed* her help to stop Wheatley.

OH MY GOSH THAT WAS AWESOME! Love the lil details of Wheatly's hair going from clean and neat to more unkept the madder he gets then having Space Core knock his glasses off and then even losing his labcoat. Really gives more life to the animation. Just wow!

The horror of Chell (in the portal 1 boss fight) launching rockets at children (so that Chell can lift them) and the throwing them into an incinerator. I’d still watch it though
animating the entire final boss fight? now that's surely something. very nice. and i guess we'll just ignore the fact that Whealtey, judging off his human appearance, and assuming he has human anatomy here, would 100% die very shortly after being slapped into space, so i guess GLaDOS is extra right in this scenario, not only is he not coming back, he's leaving this corporeal realm as well. oh yeah, and Chell also runs up and grabs Wheatley to force him and herself through the portal instead of being sucked into it like in the game, so Chell is even more badass.
this stuff usually brings a tear to my eye, but I've been following this channel since those original goofy animations way back when they were just little dances and cute designs this really brings a sense of catharsis and nostalgia wrapped up in sheer amazement at how the animation sells the audio very good i love maggie sea
