Hi there, Ian. I have been trying to paint skies the way you have demonstrated. (sigh) You're skies are magnificent! My first challenge was how much paint to you when priming the board. I think I have that down. Then there was my blue period when I would just get too much or not enough. My latest challenge is scratchy looking brush strokes in the blending. I've changed brushes, attempted different pressures, and I just can't figure it out. I've watched you again and again and I can't figure out how you get such a blended beauty in your skies. Do you know what I'm doing wrong, or, not doing?
I love your videos! I learn so much, but please tell me what your fluid white is in the beginning., I'm sorry if you have told this a million times. I have everything else as I've done many of your videos but I feel I'm missing something. thank you, Cindy from Florida
it is white paint, i call it fluid paint but it is a white paint from the art store that is runny'er that what you get in a tube of good quality paint.
