Me, I find most make up in general just gives an unnatural feel; I'd much rather see blemishes and "uneven skin tone" than what looks at best like plastic. Like, why do women feel their natural face isn't good enough, but men's faces are fine as is? /rant, sorry

Putting aside the ‘commercial’ (pun intended) aspect for a minute, I found it refreshing to at least see a resurrection of her Overly Attached Girlfriend character, even if for a product. This is why we watched her in the first place. Compared to that, all her other videos where she’s just regular ‘Laina’ aren’t really all that compelling. There are enough videos out there of just random people saying random things in their apartment.

it really bothers me that they apparently used warm light filters. is laina's skin too pale or what? she seems to look like a different person in this video. maybe it's the tanned look, maybe it's the absence of facial shadows due to professional lighting. i just don't like it very much...
