That's really clever because the art industries have been finding ways to keep their rights of expression. When people force you to hire someone you don't want to, it seems messed up. Eg. It's not gender discrimination, it's I need a person of certain likeness for this job to attract our audience. Interesting as they're both valid arguments but I think it's intuitive for most people.

Why does it even matter if they want men or women working there? It’s their restaurant, and why would you even want to work somewhere where you’re not wanted or so out of tune despite the uniform?
It seems kinda stupid for a regular guy to want to work at hooters. I think a place like Hooters should have a waiver or something cause they have a gimmick, they have a theme and I think that’s perfectly fine to not hire men in this sort of situation, obviously.

It depends on state law, but if servers are classified as entertainers they can "cast" whomever they choose. That is how The Tilted Kilt, and I assume Twin Peaks and, depending on local law, Hooters are able to hire who they want. If you were casting a play, obviously you can discriminate. Breastaurants are, let's face it, entertainment.

I think they should hire men...and have them wear muscle shirts.
There are exceptions to federal anti-discrimination laws.. such as, if such would directly impede the nature of a business structure/model.
For example, you’re not supposed to discriminate on the basis of age, sex (now arguably gender) or disability. However, if hiring a bunch of 80 year old men diagnosed with IBS to wear bright orange daisy duke shorts & roll around serving food from their smelly soiled wheelchairs proves to repulse the public, cause the business to go bankrupt, and then causes a bunch of able bodied 18 year old single girls to sit around getting fat living off government subsidies.. simply because ‘the law’ made it so that unattractive old men with disabilities must be hired as to ‘diversify job industry opportunities’ ..well then, in this scenario, relentlessly insisting on applying the ‘laws of equality’ _just because_ ‘it’s the law’ becomes a bit retarded & societally self-defeating at that point. 😂
