    Thank you Paul for visiting Russell Harry's grave.He was very famous throughout the 70sand early 80s.I had forgotten that he was only in his early fifties when he died.

    Loved the Russell Harty Show. A particular favourite was his live at home show on Christmas Eve 1981.

    Loved Russell Harty, watched him every week with my grandparents 😅. I forgot how young he was when he passed😢

    Alan Bennett's entry for the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography calls Harty's tombstone vulgar. Why?
