Oh man, I so hope there'll be another Amanda Palmer & The Grand Theft Orchestra album. It is one of my favorite albums :)
Danny Fleming same I really need another one
This is my favorite song on theatre is evil and i never thought there'd be a music video. I'm so thankful! Thanks to everybody involved - x.
the glory of patreon....!
Beautiful music video, I love when the songs I adore gain a visual component.
some words from the director of the video, steven mitchell wright: " We live in a world where this is less and less common and less and less supported - we live in a world where we like something or we scroll past it - metaphor is dying and provocation is a dirty word - we MUST continue to experiment and make things that aren’t easily digested, works that make you stop or experiences that make you question or allow you feel deeply in ways that a single emoticon cannot express - not just consume and keep scrolling."
i can't believe this video, i love it.
thanks for that
"It is not a life decision; you just need to pick a restaurant." Best line ever!
This is my favorite song from Theatre is Evil. I did not expect a music video five years later. You've made my day, Amanda.
"Doesn't hurt bad enough yet."
Love the Macbeth aspect, movement and costumes.
Love Amanda Palmer
It's beautiful. I just love it.It's probably my favourite song from the album - but the MacBeth vibe is bloody amazing. Steven Mitchell Wright, you did fantastic job xx
I didnt make the connection to MacBeth, thank you for mentioning it. It makes more sense now. Just seemed kinda random the first view.
This music video is so bealtiful! I love Amanda Palmer!
WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T I KNOW THIS EXISTED UNTIL NOW, HOLY SHIT I LIVE FOR THIS!!!
So beautiful, as always.
Thank you so much for this Amanda, this is my all time favourite song from you. I really do love your music and it has helped me tremendously. Thank you and the best of luck to you, you deserve it ❤️
So beautiful video for a beautiful song. I love every project you make, Amanda.
This is crazy awesome.
I have a strange adororation for the shaving cream duo in front of that photo studio backdrop.
This is so good. I just discovered her and a little bit of her story through her Ted Talks. I'm so happy, I feel inspired

Man he is beautiful! And the track is great.
The song and the video move me so much, i don't have the words. Just stunning. Utterly Beautiful.
This is like a gorgeous Christmas present, unexpected and divine. THANK YOU.
Truly groundbreaking. Someone put it into fucking words finally.
c'est vraiment super......excellent ...
Thank you, Amanda. I have long loved the song. The video adds so much more.
Amanda Palmer and the GTO are so awesomely addictive. I love all the projects AFP has done. She’s totally my long time music crush. 😘🎼🎹
One of my fave tracks from TIE and I had given up hope for a video to go with it. It doesn't need to show Amanda in person as it certainly has enough Brechtian, Art-Punk, Theatre-person influences spattered all over it to represent her. There are some really interesting artistic choices in this and layers of meaning that could be either applied or peeled away...
u know I found u on a ted talk a few years back and im so very glad I did. your words inspired me enough to want to see your music. u have a gift for entertaining.. I love your artsiness.
Such amazing visuals for a great song, beyond happy to get a peek into Amandas mind
YES! This song is one of my favourites.
Love this song

So I just wanna say I love the video, but the whole time I'm watching it I'm thinking "What in the everloving FUCK did I just watch?"
Is this video about sexually abused boys & men?
Brilliant.

This video has a weird artsy Anton Corijn vibe to it...I like it
I love you, Amanda...
Wow wow wow... Oh wow the feels. ✨❤️✨
Very good
It's perfect.
Love
😭😭😭 Yesss! I've waited so long for this! ♥♥♥
How do people not get this video? It's so good! It must take depth to understand it and I'm guessing a lot of you don't have any! Art is meant to be interpreted. Think with your creative side! So amazing Amanda! One of your best videos and songs!
This is absolutely beautiful ❤❤ I'm so glad we finally got a video for it ❤ I'm only crying a little!!!! (Lie)
Finally a good video for a good song
This is AMAZING
So Bowie!

The video emphasises the Depeche Mode sound of the track.

Someone please explain this clip to me. I love Amanda and I like the song, but I didn't understand anything :-(
Shaul Kedem a lot of people think it has to do with macbeth
Phalin Valria oh! Thank you
"Tethys, I uh..." The young man realizes something. "Hey, you're not Tethys! Screw you and don't ever call here again, you're fucking with some *serious* people!"

Interesting video.
I really wish I could have directed a video for this song! Great song video not so much🙃
Holy fucking shit this was beautiful 💞first video without her too I think? 🤔
no...there's a few animations! but this is the first real-person one i'm not in...
Amanda Palmer ah of course of, course! I saw Evelyn Evelyn in Glasgow when we made web history 💞 should have thought of the animated ones! Thanks for your reply
Really not sure about this video tbh... and I usually love any AFP video =/
love the song so much, but the video... I don't know... I always imagined it to be a one on one kinda song, but with all these people doing all these things, I'm not so sure I like it as much...
I'm just here to watch the adolescent girls predictably approve
This video is so horribly pretentious, but it's one of my favourite songs
Lol I don't really get it
This is.... odd.
AMANDA is . . . odd -- end of story and off.
And Neil Gaiman is . . . very brave
great-odd women need very brave men
who did you steal from this time to fund this video?
