haha good observation! This is an old phone and ours had a weak backlight, making the screen hard to capture on camera. But also, the interface of the phone is very traditional for a 2009 flip phone/feature phone, so there's not a lot to see there that's really exciting. The most interesting thing about this one is definitely the hardware (that shifting, e-ink keyboard and dual hinge form factor). The software...not so much (was a little boring/disappointing even when it first came out). But if Samsung recycled this design today, I'm sure the software would be much more powerful/flexible, and be able to match the high standards set by the hardware. Thanks for watching, and the support as always!
They should make a modern version of this!
I agree wholeheartedly.
Samsung, PLEASE release an alias 3 with android. You'd be surprised how well it'll do. A lot of people miss buttons on their phones.
honestly the best phone ever. got this after the screen fell off on my sidekick2
Yes, another review! ❤
Please use more lighting, everything was good but the lighting 😭
I wonder if you could add emojis to this even if just in b&w
I loved the phones of this era! The fact that you usually needed to add a text plan, not so much. I think I paid $10 or 15 for 1000 of them
More retro review
Just wondering, does yours have a damaged main display, because you didn't show it?
