I got 3 Tarps that were 12mm thick . Overlapped them all so water wouldn’t get through. I even got Asphalt cement to fix any damage I see on it. Can’t afford to have the roof redone. It’s a lot cheaper this way

I don't know exactly, but I did talk to this homeowner and it held up just fine for 3 1/2 months because that is how long it took to get the roofers over there. Everything about this is wrong. Every contractor or PH installed tarp has been like this lately. Literally putting 5 x 5 Tarps up for one creased shingle in the middle or 18 x 20 for 6 with no exposed felt. "Let me run this tarp 5 feet over the ridge onto the undamaged slope so I make sure it gets bought." Yeah, it'll get bought....by you 🙄

That box looks like the stuff Lowes has. Barricade Heavy Sheeting, 100x20ft. 6 mil.
