This must be a silly question, but even if tarping is just temporary, won’t the button head nails all be an area where water can get through the roof?

I'll have to show this video to my son and his wife working 2 jobs just to get food and gas for the 25 year old vehicles. They could've replaced the roof 5 years ago but now we all have to pay for the "newcomers" to have new roofs over their heads so my son will have to tarp his up till the magical roof fairy comes and helps them. He's always gotten the short end of the stick so it's no wonder he looks worn at age 32. One thing after the other.

I live much the same way but I'm trusting God to provide a way, He always has and I'm pretty sure He always will.
