Yes Michael Lehrer passed away a little while ago. He was the first of very few comedians in The Kill Tony Hall of Fame. Seemed like a good guy and knew how to take a joke. RIP
Michael Lehrer had Motor Neurone Disease, known in America as ALS or Lou Gehrig's Disease. It's what my old man got and died from in 2005. He didn't "Want to be a comedian", he was a comedian, when he was fully able bodied.
Their is a section next to tracts on the subway called third rail that is electrified and you can get fried easily if you fall on the third rail in any nyc, Chicago, Philly or east coast subways.
Michael was a fucking BEAST. Dude could dish it out and take it like a champ. Didn't let his situation butt fuck him into being offended by everything.
@@LiamBeanComedy I know that’s the narrative ya’ll ran with because everybody hates flagrant now but no 😂 shane always pretends to be offended on the pod that’s his thing. He’s expressed his thoughts before on the absurdity of “punching down” and he’s also made a ton of jokes at the expense of down syndrome people for laughs. Ya’ll gotta chill.

How's the electrician certifications going, Dave? Just don't wire up anymore audio setups for podcasts 😛 (jk. Ironically the OB channel has had SOOO many more 'technical difficulties' since you've been gone) Btw, nobody dies from the third rail on subway trains. I'm sure it's happened since it's over 500 volts, but there's really no stats on it. It's protected by a guard and anyone on the tracks is either there as a worker where the electricity is turned off, or someone who fell down there or jumped down on purpose to kill themselves via train impact.
@Spudz76 Yup. The third rail sits by the stanchions separating uptown and downtown tracks. You could fall and roll into the gauge with no issues. The main hazard is a train pulling in because there's no under platform clearance.
Ummm.... guys - what part of you laughing THE WHOLE FCKIN TIME is the "TRY NOT" to part? Not that it wasn't hilarious as fck, but wasn't it suppose to be challenge NOT to laugh at the jokes/funny sh!t?

It was crazy to watch a video of him before the disease.. it really takes everything from you
My Dad passed away from ALS as well at a young age of 47. That was 10yrs ago now when I was 17. Worst disease ever. Watched him fight it for 4 years.
The far track is the electrified one.
"I've been wrong before, I thought Steve Harvey was dead." is my new disclaimer.
He basically is... Have you seen the way he looks into the camera... No light in those eyes.
7:00 Ash was just WAITING to get offended by a joke about women 😂😂
She was cool with Shane talking shit to a mentally challenged guy but made a face as soon as girls are mentioned 😂
@@MisterRawgerswell yeah she is not disabled so how can she get offended
“I feel wet. Did you spray on me?” 🤣🤣🤣

The podcast he does with his friend Matt McCusker is really funny too. One time they had Adam Eget on, the cohost of Norm Macdonald’s podcast 🔥

Hey Ash!!!🥰🥰🥰.......sup dave.
@@TheOriginalHeisenberg same energy lmao
Yes Adam has grown his hair out.
What we do in the shadows😂 great refrence..great show lol.
Yo, did you guys get that drafty room all fixed up so Ash can breathe?
I like Shane Gillis because he’s one of the only famous people who has a strong Pennsylvania accent.
Yes we are
Watch a Michael lehrer set on youtube at 1.5 or 2x speed. i can't remember which was best, but he is a fantastic comedian. Really well written jokes.
Yes, Scouses are the funniest Brits. Eric Idle has many times said that The Beatles were at least as funny as the Pythons…and I agree with him.
As an Okie, I have to say, there is nothing camp about singing "Oklahoma."
He did pass
She Shed for crafting!
We are all about the grilled chesee
*Shane:* _"It would have to be a white human."_
Are there any other kind brother? 😎
just watch the gomez roast entirely
Count whackula lol
Dave completely misread that moment on flagrant. Shane literally always does that even with his bestfriend Matt on the podcast lmao.
Not really Shane ripped into them, that happened and it happened for a reason.

@@00z00p I like flagrant, but that episode they were being douches. It’s possible to like a thing and think occasionally they fuck up.
Matt and Shane's secret podcast. Don't tell them about it
Better start working on that crafting room boy 😂 before I do for that beautiful woman 😍
😂 damn
Ugh
My guy you aren’t even talking to a woman without stuttering lol😂

Cumtown-Indian Tony Soprano
That's cause Shane is no shame
The 3rd rail has current in it in the subway.
The Subway 3rd rail is 600-750 volts.
Yep, I remember that scene from Beat Street. LOL
Merely a tickle.
And that's the one farthest from the platform so you'd have to be all the way down there jacking around to touch it.
