He wasn't a replica he just used some techniques Eddy also used but Vito had a different approach, more like oriented to classical music into rock, he was a great composer
People don't realize how god damn good Vito Bratta was until you hear other "professional" players try to play his songs. Mike Tramp is a great man and I am glad he is still playing some White Lion songs, but this is pathetic and sounds like shit compared to what they were back from 1987-1991.
Ok, I'm a huge Vito fan, have been since I first heard Fight to Survive then of course the Pride album came out, and I was completely sold. However, I saw this band in 08', at a small club in Alaska of all places, and being a guitar freak for over 25 years, and standing right in front of Jamie Law, I have to say, he isn't VIto, but come on, that's huge shoes to fill, but Jamie was awesome, and playing a charvel which is way better for these types of songs rather than a Les Paul.
Im good..still i appreciate this is music..when something missing there is another one to fill it up..thats my stand it wont be the same but life must move on ..and i can see its still good and fine..

i need to teach the guitarist how to play vitos melodic lines correctly this version is sloppy,tone is weak mike sounded fine though,vito was one of the the most melodic guitarist out of the 80s if someone is gonna play his songs live please study them...
Horrible! Vito Bratta used to construct his solo's like mini compositions within the songs -this guy's just absolutely ruined it like some guy shredding over the track in his bedroom. It had no rhyme or reason and is sloppy as hell. Is it me or has there also been a bit of over dubbing on this "live " recording?? Can't believe this is the same song I heard as a kid and thought-this is the most amazing album/band ever!!!!!

Tramp should get the blame. He put this group together for the huge payday. No business being related to White Lion. The good news is Tramp has since apologized for this era of his career and regrets the decision tremendously

The problem is not a missing Vito. Vito's been a great guitarist. For sure. But there are hundrets of guitar players that could do his job pretty proper. The guys just aged. Tramp can't sing anymore like he did in the 80s/90s i guess.So they have to tune everything down. And i think too, that the sound at that gig was crap.Same shit that Metallica did. I saw Tramp's White Lion a few years ago in a small club and it was actually pretty good. But they should play the songs the old way.

Eddie can be copied but a copy is never as good as the original....think about all the van halen/roth/hagar songs that band has wrote....no way vito is as good creatively...talent yes he can play but Eddie is a guitar God which is why he influenced so many players like vito.
Even if WL had never broken up, they wouldn’t have survived pass their 4 hit songs. Their material is just way too boring live, it lacks punch and drive. The melodic rhythm is anything but interesting. The vast majority of their melodies are always dragging and tiring. Vito is a beast, but no amount of musicianship on an instrument can save the day on subpar songwriting. I liked them so much when they came out, but I now realize how much MTV had to do with that, and of course also the fact that I was fifteen and teenage love was the order of the day.
