Too bad FH came online just as the scene was ending. Great musicians. Great vocals. And listen . . . . no backing tracks (except for maybe the intro harmonies) and no auto tune. Real music played by real people at a high level.
Saw them last night and they were amazing. Really pleased to able see them, the band was just fantastic. C.J.'s voice was so good and strong it was ridiculous.
Friday and Saturday nights cruzin' with my girlfriend just fuckin' jammin' to this song. The 80's were the best time of my life. I had a '76 Olds Cutlass Salon, bucket seats, console shifter, hopped up 455 cid Olds engine, 2) 200 watt 6x9 Jenson speakers in the back, 2) 100 watt 4x5 Jenson speakers under the dash with a Craig stereo hooked up to a Craig graphic equalizer. The best time of my life. Damn I wish I could go back.
What a great time in life. 20 years old, living in the big city. Seeing all these great bands rollin through. They dont make em like this anymore. Great song!
For me poison must open up for firehouse.... never understand why this band never step up to the next level like def leppard whitesnake and many others
@@user-vj4et2rk6x because they started in the 90s, just imagine what they could've achieved if they started in 1980. But the awesome thing that they done was beating all the other bands especially grunge bands in the 1991 or 1992 American Hard Rock/ Heavy Metal Music Awards.
I got my first cassette tape of firehouse from Columbia house. Remember the like 10 tapes for a penny lol. Awesome band my older brother and sisters influenced my music preferences so I can’t thank them enough. Firehouse great band and also was playing during my first make out party. Not joking lol.
Not a bad song from a band some reviewer in the late 80s described as "Air Supply with crunchy guitars", followed by an "Ugh!". This one is pretty tight and a fairly interesting composition as far as hair metal goes. Hats off to the excellent vocals, and that bends-and-staccato solo is is pretty nifty. Too bad Grunge was about to steam roll them within weeks of this gig.
It's wasn't about grunge steamrollin these bands, its about these late 80s early 90s Hair Metal bands going too soft with too many ballads Firehouse kept going well into 96 I just couldn't listen to their 2nd and 3rd album 90s was a bit fuked up because all these grunge band weren't any better at the end
This is what you’re jivin’ to at 155mph in your Hellcat leaving Las Vegas on the run back to L.A. with a smoke-show of a stripper chick next to you in the passenger seat. If you don’t, or can’t, appreciate that, … well, turn in your Man Card.
@@gemini_man66 Yes I know but there are many glam metal bands that had been popular in the early 90s especially in their peak like Warrant's Cherry Pie...
R.I.P CJ.Snare...Thanks For Your Songs..
Bless you CJ, thanks for all the great songs over the years. Rest well Sir.
💥Gosh , Can’t believe they sound THIS good LIVE‼️. This is an amazing performance.
Singer sounds just like the record, live.
Man, they sounded great live...very tight band.
They still sound pretty good these days too. Props to them.
Yes brother, very true
I CAN AGREE WITH YOU ON THAT TOO MY FRIEND

Yeaaaahh 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That sounds like backing tracks or some kind of harmonizer on the backing vocals to me. Everything else sounds live.
@@MrWilly2204 yeah most backing vocals have slight auto tune so they dont have to try they just sing
Tons of backing tracks
Lots of backing tracks. But it's still great
RIP CJ Snare.
In this 2023 this song continues to sound in my mind and heart of Rock 🤟🏼🤩🤟🏼🤩🤟🏼🤩
Bill Leverty! Fucking killer on guitar! Ripping it
I love this band! So fucking GREAT! Yeahhhhh! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
wow feels like listening to their studio album..great exact play just like in the album..those were the days..I am born in the wrong era musicaly :(
Hell Yea.
Same here. Parents used to listen to this all the time--must be why I prefer this kind of music.
This dudes voice was ridiculous. You didn’t hear of anyone covering there songs, because those vocals are impossible.
Watch Stryper's live cover of this. They ACED it.
Great song
True
stryper??
uhm.. the vocals are in NO WAY comparable..
the rest sounds decent.
Yeah it's hard to cover this band because of there singer ! 😊
amazing voice, energy, wow!!!
u can say what u want but this is legit, great hard rock band.
The fact is No One can say anything. These bands had and many still have more talent live than musicians from any genre of music.
Awesome base
Lead vocals Great, background vocals Fantastic!
dayum...... it's like in CD what a live concert.
I lived in some great decades for rock music. 70's,80's, 90's! Great live bands in those days.
Saw them a year or so ago and C.J. has NOT lost that voice...........Still sounds great today
He sounds THIS good? can still hit all the high notes?
Firehouse has been tuned down half a step since 2005, but other than that yes @@grneal26
One of the greatest bands in this era
I don't care what anyone says, he had one of the best voices in the hair metal scene.
Superbly Awesome 👏🏼-always like the recording......all of their live shows. Unreal
one of the best live bands ever!!
excellent performance!
His live vocals are insane. Literally sounds like the recording.
RIP Mr. Snare!!!
Ahhh back to the days of 80's Hair Metal, the genre is sorely missed by many...

I wish I would have traveled time with my smartphone to see these 90's glam metal bands and film them using my phone and go back afterwards....
80's bands 😉 1991 forward belonged to the Seattle Grunge scene.
@@gemini_man66 Yes I know but there are many glam metal bands that had been popular in the early 90s especially in their peak like Warrant's Cherry Pie...

What a great band to go see!. It’s too bad that they came into mainstream in the late 1990 into 1991 when hair metal was coming to an end. 😢
👍 ~
They were damn good live some not so much it's 2019 still listening
